Today we went to Cafe Zauq at 5:00pm and the food we received was incredibly disappointing. We bought the Chicken Tikka which was cold and stale, and we also bought the Malai Boti. When tried it, we found that it was smelly, uncooked, stale, and cold. We also once bought chicken noodles before today, and they barely gave us any chicken piece in it. The food has been repeatedly disappointing, and we will not be buying from Cafe Zauq ever again. The Malai Boti has to be a health concern and our money was wasted. The smell was unbearable and rotten. You can see in the photos that the inside of the chicken is pink and uncooked.

I had a very disappointing experience with Cafe Zauq Milton.
I placed an order a day in advance for 20 naans, specifically requesting that they be cut in half. When I went to pick up the order, I confirmed again with the staff member at the counter that the naans were cut in half, and she assured me they were.
When I got home, I discovered that the naans were actually cut into quarters, not halves. I immediately called the restaurant to let them know and asked if they could replace them with naans cut in halves, since that was what we ordered.
I was told it was a kitchen staff mistake and that there was “nothing they could do.” When I asked for a replacement, they said I would need to bring the naans back, and then they would assess them before deciding whether to make new ones. This made no sense — the naans were exactly the same ones they had given me 20 minutes earlier, and we hadn’t even eaten them. I even offered to bring them back right away, but was still told they needed to “assess” them first. I just wanted them to start making the replacement as I had guests waiting for lunch.
The most frustrating part was the lack of customer service. The person on the phone immediately shut down any attempt to resolve the issue and showed no interest in fixing their mistake.
Mistakes happen, but how a business handles them matters. Unfortunately, there was no accountability, no apology, and no effort to help, which is why I’m giving zero stars for customer service.

Had a great experience there. The food was fresh and full of flavor.The veg samosa was definitely the highlight.One of the best samosa I have had. I also tried their Chicken Patties which I loved.

I recently ordered paya from Zauq Cafe Milton. I usually order many different items from here, and honestly, most of their food is really good and flavorful.
However, this time I was very disappointed with the paya. The taste was not good at all — there was way too much cardamom in it, which completely overpowered the dish and made it taste horrible. Paya should have a rich, balanced flavor, but this one was dominated by cardamom.
I’m sharing this feedback because I genuinely like your food overall. If this dish isn’t prepared properly, it might be better not to include it on the menu. I hope you take this feedback seriously and improve it, as I would love to continue ordering from you.

Wow ordered again from Zauq a simple seekh kebab wrap. The kebab is missing. They don’t call to ask what I may want to substitute instead they just wrap some chicken and send it to me. What happened if I was allergic to chicken?
All you had to do was call and ask what I wanted instead. Thanks for extra beef samosas. Uber has provided me a full refund for your lack of customer service. Geez guys happy new year!
