The food…was so good omg so flavorful and generous portions.
The arepa was rich in flavor. I loved the plantains. The salad was a delicious mix of greens, tomatoes, fresh prosciutto and creamy feta (which paired wonderfully with the balsamic vinaigrette).

The photos of the food grabbed my attention, even though I was only looking to stop somewhere for a quick coffee. I decided to try one of the arepas; after all, this is a Venezuelan café. It was incredibly flavorful and delicious! My boyfriend had the Americano croissant and devoured it. Their coffee was good, but their food was SPECTACULAR! I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Suisun City—or just make the drive; it’s worth it.

I was really excited to try this place because I recently saw one of their promo videos on social media. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed. The food was alright, we ordered two arepas (one chicken and avocado and one beef and plantain) but the coffee wasn’t great and the service wasn’t either.
It took us 35+ minutes to get our order. Multiple customers who came in after us received their food and drinks before we did even when they ordered the same items. My friend finally asked the cashier how much longer would it be, and she told us they ran out of milk and they were waiting for more. That was never communicated to us for some reason. We ended up choosing an alternative milk instead and waited several more minutes for the food. I ordered a cortado and it tasted very watered down. My friend ordered a mocha and said that it just tasted like chocolate milk. The chicken arepa with avocado is more like a chicken salad, lacked flavor and was stuffed with cold, unmelted cheese. The beef and plantain arepa was way better, I recommend trying that one instead.
All in all, the place wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great either, I probably won’t be back.

Cafe Warao is my favorite place in Suisun! The food is absolutely delicious! I recently ordered the Arepa Pabellon which I really enjoyed…. I also had the most yummy coffee which definitely helped me to feel energized. The customer service is top notch too… Can’t say enough good stuff about Cafe Warao ⭐

I visited Cafe Warao in Suisun City a week ago and ordered the Warao Avocado Toast. The quality and presentation were great and it was delicious too. I enjoyed the combination of ingredients and flavors. The portion was perfect for a light breakfast. The service was great, the staff was friendly, and the cafe was clean. I didn’t have any drinks that visit but I had some in the past and there are lots of great drinks to try since they are very different compared to what it is usual around the area, from Venezuela. I would recommend this cafe if you are looking for a cozy and tasty place to have breakfast or brunch.

We ordered two Warao Cappuccinos, an empanada, and Arepa Peballon. Cappuccinos had condensed milk and were not too sweet, which is exactly what we preferred. Food was really good! The one guy working there was super nice, would come back again!

Placed an order online at 5:30pm with a scheduled pickup for 7:45pm for an event next door at 8. I got a text from the owner that my food had been ready and sitting for an hour at 7pm. I texted back to clarify that the order was for pickup later in the evening and the owner didn’t acknowledge my message. When I got there it was clear the food had cooled and been sitting out for a long time. I tried to explain but he just said “yes it’s your order thank you!” It was fine but I’d exercise caution placing an order online unless you’re into food being prepared and set out 2 hours before your scheduled pickup time.

I’ve gone to Warao a few times now and tried different dishes and went with different friends. Each time I went, my friends and I were never disappointed. Every dish hit its mark and tasted fresh and delicious. The restaurant is so clean, and the service has always been warm and welcoming!
I tried three kinds of toast. The Warao toast is stacked and is sure to satisfy. The normal avocado toast is perfect for those who want to keep to simple. The Nutella toast was perfectly sweet, not overdoing it and went well with the strawberries.
The two flatbreads were amazing! The pepperoni one tasted better than some pizzas I’ve had. The warao flatbread was again stacked. Their prosciutto really stood out.
Also had their shredded beef arepa and empanada. Both had very tender, juicy marinated meat. Just full of flavor! The arepa was also loaded with cheese. It will definitely fill most people up. Last but not least were the tequenos. They’re kind of like mozzarella sticks but with a flaky crust. Make sure to put the delicious garlic cilantro sauce on everything!
I absolutely loved their coffee! Get their Warao Cappuccino! You won’t be disappointed! Their matcha version has all the sweet bitterness you’d expect matcha to have. And the frappe was also good, not overpowering in sweetness.
If you haven’t gone already, check Cafe Warao out! They knocked it out of the park with me and I’ll most definitely be coming back here over and over again!
