Truly impressed by this restaurant. This is by far the best Italian food I’ve had in Raleigh. We came here in a larger group for my birthday. The service was excellent. We ordered drinks, appetizers, multiple different entrees, and different desserts. Everything was so flavorful and balanced.

Consistently a favorite restaurant of mine and dinner Friday night did not disappoint. Fortunate to secure a last minute 8p reservation for 3. All enjoyed out appetizers including bruschetta, soup and salads. The dinners of steak, gnocchi and pasta were also perfectly prepared. Service is exceptional and this time I remembered to buy a loaf of their amazing bread on my way out. For me it’s the best bread in town at any restaurant.

Me and my boyfriend went to this restaurant to have a date night. I am very experienced with cooking. I ordered chickenMarsala. The chicken came out swimming in the separated sauce. The wine was not reduced. I sent it back, and the server came up to me and told me not to order that anymore if I did not like wine (she also told me to go to Carraba’s). I love wine, and I have made Marsala and had authentic Marsala many times. I was super shocked at how I was treated after I sent it back. The dessert was very good, but I will not be coming back here.

Great food and great service. We absolutely loved our server John. He was very fun and nice. He was very personable and had a great banter. Service was top notch. He added enjoyment to our evening. Lobster Bisque was delicious as well as the Veal saltimbocca. Hope to be back soon.

First time trying this restaurant. Walked in without a reservation at 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday night looking for a table for two. A few tables were marked reserved, but there were plenty of empty tables that could have accommodated us. We were told the only space available was at the bar despite plenty of empty tables and were rushed back to a crowded bar for the last two seats crammed at the end with no backs. The only other table we were offered was in the blazing afternoon heat outside. We said no thanks and left. We were not looking for a two hour meal experience and probably would have been done in well under an hour depending on how long it took to get our food. Instead, we went right next door to Salt and Lime where we were greeted with courtesy, seated right away despite it being crowded, and experienced excellent customer service throughout our delicious meal. The staff at Cafe Tiramisu was rude and seemed to turn their nose up at us since we had no reservation. The owner’s response indicates to me that customer service is really not a priority at this establishment and the way we were treated stems from the top down. No apology that they were unable to accommodate us. No admission that the situation could have been handled better by staff. Just an insult that I don’t know how reservations work. Nice.

My wife and I went here for our birthdays. She enjoyed her meal and we both had a cappuccino and a piece of tiramisu. However our service was subpar. I am an EO practitioner for my job and I very often look at treatment in a place of business.
