Good ole time southern cooking at its best. We, a party of four, arrived at noontime, and the place was packed. Service was a wee bit slow due to there only being two servers. We were certainly in no hurry, as it allowed time for a deep plate of fellowship and conversation.

Our wait was well rewarded. Everyone said their food was deliciouis. I opted for a Southwest omelet. My friends had a hamburger, onion rings, stewed tomatoes, and a Patty Melt. It was all good.

Our server, Tammy, was the best. Very friendly and always serving up a warm smile and a “Can I get you anything else right now?” Tea glasses were refilled as soon as they were emptied.

All in all, a good stop. We were in a Class A motorhome with a tow. There was not a problem getting in and out of the very large parking lot.

Service was good. Very quiet, laid back. Lavonia steak and cheese needs to be re done. Steak and peppers were great, cheese was awful. Also not on a hotdog bun please. She did discount the meal for me so that was a plus. I do hear the burgers are great. Hand patted meat. Worth a second trip someday.

My wife and I love this place! It’s our fav neighborhood restaurant. Family-owned, good home-cooked food at a really great price, and always good conversation. This spot is a hit for locals and regulars, and has even been voted “Best Burger in Town” multiple times. They have great cooks and are always friendly. Folks of all kinds are welcome here, and they will serve you and treat you with respect no matter what. The staff is kind and caring and will never leave your cup half-full! Highly recommended.

A little hidden gem in Lavonia , Ga off Interstate 85. Real country ham and smoked links were the bomb. Breakfast didn’t break the bank. You’re going to be presently surprised.

Our first time at silocafe. We had excellent service. There were a few more people there, but we had a wonderful waitress that was on top of things. The food served was perfect. The strawberry cake for desert was very moist. It couldn’t have been better. Thank you.

Didn’t know what to expect. 1st time there. Ordered me a couple hotdogs an tater tots. I was surprised at how good they actually were. The staff was super friendly. All in all i was impressed. I will definitely go again. I want to try one of the homemade hamburger steak plates. A guy next to me ordered that it came by looking an smelling very good

Small town hole in the wall diner. It’s probably been around forever and locals go out of habit.
It seriously needs a makeover and deep cleaning. Fresh paint could do a lot for appeal.
Menu is very basic. The French fries are all about 2″ long, which seemed weird. You get bottled soda.
The waitress was very nice though.
I wouldn’t go back.

Me and my husband had breakfast here…it was amazing..no complaints whatsoever!! The eggs n cheese alone were the best I’ve ever ate. My husband got a bacon platter which was big servings and he said it was so good he had to have a bacon biscuit before we left..we will definitely be visiting again very soon and many more times after that.

I have really mixed feelings about this place. It’s a bit awkward and uncomfortable at first but it kinda grows on you. The food is VERY basic but pretty good. They really treat you like a friend while you are there which is good I guess but maybe too casual for some people. The prices are the lowest I have seen in years. I would actually be happy to pay more so they could spend some money to fix the place up a bit. I would recommend everyone try it once. Make sure you get a biscuit, they were good.

We loved the welcoming feeling we got from everyone there (including customers) we where passing through and didn’t want fastfood. We have no regrets, the food ,although simple, tasted great. Its simple country cooking and this southren family loved it. We had the two eggs and one meat breakfast and it was all hot and moist when we got it. The coffee was fresh and our cups stayed filled (we even had a customer get up and circulate the pot). We will be back…
