Had not tried Cafe Sierra Negra and took a chance. Happy I did! Flavorful and not your average Shrimp Tacos and the Mediterranean platter was a nice accompaniment. After our order was taken and brought, we never had another contact with our server, however, front of the house – Ben was friendly, unique and knowledgeable.

I’ve had many huevos rancheros but this stands out as uniquely delicious. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients. Not too too spicy. Amazing. The service is slow as they seem understaffed, but the food is worth it. Don’t think I’ve had a more perfect carrot cake! Not too sweet, and so moist.

A small menu but high quality ingredients well put together with excellent and very tasty results. The green chile burger was fabulous. Our server, Natalie, was attentive and gracious. We plan on returning and trying everything!

A great place to eat! I loved the counter with freshly baked coffee cake, carrot cake etc. The music was on and i was greeted by several friendly staff. I had heard the cookies were great but they were already sold out today. I ordered the fish tacos and they are really good. I definitely wanted more food so be sure to order something else if you have a big appetite. The coffeecake was good but not amazing. The only down side is that it took over 35 minutes to get my food to go. So be patient or call ahead. Additional info: plenty of parking, dog friendly, one restroom for everyone, spacious inside and out with shaded patio.

New Mexican home cooking at its best. We went at noon on a Saturday and the owner apologized for it being slow. She was working alone because her help called in. Well, there was no need… The service was excellent and she was very friendly. It felt like Sunday lunch at grandma’s house. And the green chile stew, as well as the homemade bread served with it, was amazing. If you love a good stew to comfort your soul, stop in and enjoy!

Beautiful place for lunch. Tasty fish tacos, huevos rancheros with green chile stew, & then deserts. We waited for the carrot cake to finish cooking & preparation, & the small wait was well justified. Plus the brownie & Basque cheese cake were delicious.

On the great divide bike tour stopped in for lunch. Food and service were both excellent and I had 2 cinnamon rolls for dessert. I highly recommend this place.
