I saw Cafe Savoy listed in a few searches for “best brunch in Prague” so decided to give it a try. This place certainly delivers on tasty food, good service and an eye-catching interior. However, it doesn’t offer anything particularly special or unique, especially for the high prices. The brunch menu is also quite limited on dishes, with a few different breakfast platters to choose from and some omelets. It’s mostly a spot for tourists visiting the Prague 1/2 area. While our brunch was good, I walked away with really no desire to ever return. For a brunch that’s more local and unique, I’ll stick to the Karlin and Holešovice neighborhoods.

Great experience from the beginningto the end! Lives up to all the hype)
➕ Excellent experience from start to finish
➕ Very kind, attentive, and helpful staff
➕ ️ Beautiful space with a warm, lively atmosphere
➕ ⚡ Fast service despite being fully booked
➕ Easy to get staff attention
➕ Outstanding Eggs Benedict (zesty, well-balanced sauce)
➕ Excellent apple strudel (crispy layers, perfectly cooked apples, not overly sweet)
➕ ☕ Delicious flat white
➖ Not a quiet or secluded venue
➖ Not ideal for intimate conversations
➖ Reservation strongly recommended due to high demand

Very kind and helpful staff. Beautiful place with lovely atmosphere. Brought all the food very fast even with the place being full. Was very easy to get the waiters atention, and they were very attentive.
Amazing food! The eggs Benedict went perfect with zesty sauce and not too creamy (like it often happenes). One of the best apples strudels ive had, i could easily break it with my spoon (with nice creaspy flakes), the apples cooked perfectly and not too soft. The desert was not too sweet.
Delicious flat white.
But please note that this is not a quite or secluded place, so if you want an intimate conversation perhaps that not the place. You also do need a reservation (if you just pop in they will try to find you a set but they are very busy, so better be in the safe side)

A truly elegant and historic café in Prague with a stunning interior. The high ceilings, classic decor, and traditional atmosphere make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. It’s a perfect place for breakfast, brunch, or a relaxing coffee break.
The desserts are beautifully presented and very delicious. The pastries taste fresh and high quality, and the coffee is rich and well-prepared. Everything we tried was satisfying and carefully served.
Despite being quite popular and sometimes busy, the staff remained professional and attentive. The overall ambiance is refined yet comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy both the atmosphere and the food.
If you’re looking for a classic European café experience in Prague, this place is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommended.

Polished restaurant with delicious schnitzel. We ordered two schnitzels with a side of chips that had a lovely hint of truffle and a side of steamed potatoes that were quite soft. The food was lovely, however the meat could have been a little softer. The service was efficient and polite. We had recommendation from the sommelier on the wine and eveything was smooth. Only down was the sweets cabinet was pretty much empty and we could not try the famous Savoy cake. I beleive they had an issue with the delivery on that day (according to the waiter). Definitely a nice venue to visit when in Praha.

A truly beautiful and historic café, dating back to 1893 with a charming old-world atmosphere. Even the coffee cups matched the classic style of that era, which made the experience feel authentic. The carrot cake was delicious! Definitely worth a visit in Prague.

Another solid ChatGPT lunch recommendation across the river at Café Savoy, a classic spot that’s been around since 1893.

The space is bright, elegant, and welcoming, the kind of room that instantly makes you want to linger. We ordered the cucumber salad, their famous veal schnitzel, the trout, and a side of French fries. Every dish landed perfectly, fresh, balanced, and confidently executed. The schnitzel deserves its reputation, crisp and light without feeling heavy.

It’s slightly out of the way, but absolutely worth the stretch if you’re visiting Prague. A dependable choice when you want quality food in a beautiful setting.

Café Savoy delivered one of our best meals in Prague! The Art Nouveau interior is absolutely stunning and the service was excellent. The Confit Duck Leg was the star of the show, incredibly tender, rich, and perfectly complemented by the red cabbage and dumplings. A beautiful and delicious experience overall!

We ordered:
– Confit Duck Leg with Red Cabbage & Bread Dumplings (Highly recommend!)
– Croissant Gianduia
– Hot Cocoa
– Pilsner Urquell

Savory things that we ate were delicious. But the dessert was a huge disapponintment. The ambiance was lovely but the waiters could be a little more cheerful.

We visited Cafe Savoy at the start of December, We did not have a reservation, so we waited in line for our table for 15 minutes, it was definitely worth it! the atmosphere is very chic and the staff is very friendly and helpful! We loved the food as well, we ordered the sandwich and the schnitzel with truffle fries. Everything was delicious! Also ordered their signature hot chocolate and dessert, both were great! Thank you for the amazing experience!❤️❤️

I went there for brunch, and the staff welcomed us in a very friendly and elegant way. It doesn’t seem to be a place frequented by locals; rather it’s more of a café to visit if you’re looking for something aesthetic and Instagram-worthy.

I think some of the dishes could taste a little better, but overall, the experience was really good.

In total I spent around 1100 Kc and I advice to reserve a table if you want to avoid long waiting time.
