It was a standard okay breakfast in San Antonio. Meat quality wasn’t great, cheese is processed, tortillas are decent. I liked the taco salsas. Probably won’t be back.

While Everything looked delicious I spent more time trying to find the flavor than enjoying my plate. The rice beans are flavorless, not even a pinch of salt. The salsa is watered down with absolutely no flavor. Wasn’t happy at all.

Early in Nov 22’ my Tia shared a photo of what she ate “The tampiqueña plate” She said “The meat is very tasty and tender. The enchilada sauce is a flavorful gravy kind. The tortillas are legit homemade and fluffy. Perfect guacamole! Super highly recommended. This restaurant is packed all day it seems. Can’t wait to go back” with her comment & Picture I had to have some. 9 Jan 23’ three friends & I had lunch. It was as described. This will be my go to spot now.

One of my absolute Tex Mex favorites! Love the enchilada’s, tacos, homemade tortillas, puffy tacos, add huevos rancheros. The prices are great along with the food. Kinda difficult to find a Mexican restaurant like this nowadays. Highly recommended.

Love this place the waitress are friendly. Altho sometimes in the morning the guy who I assume is the owner always gives me old tortillas with leftover barbacoba now I’m not above eating leftovers but sometimes this stuff is more than just a couple days old I’ve gotten sick a few times over the years. All in all I do recommend but only for lunch.

We like this little hole place. Food is good and staff are friendly. I just wish they would fix the nasty ceiling tiles. They are always on point on the seasonal decorations but somehow no cares to look up. I wish they would fix it cause it’s looks not sanitary.

Place is super small and now is closing different times.. if you get there in the morning expect a 45 min for the food this place needs to be bigger and have better service for the customers..

Had to check out what the hype was about at this little hole in the wall. It was packed about 1:00 p.m. Waited about 5 minutes for a table. Food was o.k. for the price.

An unassuming small restaurant that serves up great food consistently. From puffy tacos (awesome) to carne guisada, picadillo, and more, you can’t go wrong. Often place orders to go, as they are usually filled to capacity. Even then, the food is hot, and personnel are efficient and hospitable.
