I love how they have a veggie option on their menu which is just beans and cheese. So when I ask for a burrito or enchilada with bean and cheese no meat (a.k.a. the veggie option) they look at me like I’m stupid and tell me “we can’t do that, you need to get a meat”. As a vegetarian, I’m not the type to get upset if you don’t have options as it’s not their fault I’m a vegetarian. But when it’s an option on your menu, and to be told no and that I have to eat meat, that’s insulting. And it hasn’t just been this cafe rio, but every cafe rio I’ve gone to has given me that, “You’re stupid” look when i order something without meat. Will not be eating at any Cafe Rio restaurant again as I do not feel welcome there.

Oscar and his team were SO kind, welcoming and helpful for our first Cafe Rio experience. Insanely delicious food – literally the best fast casual Mexican I’ve ever had. The fire grilled chicken is worth the extra money. Bravo! Bring one to Atlanta ASAP!

There were (4) spirited employees working when I came in for Taco Tuesday, including a new hire. They were all friendly, eager to be of service and relayed the current special(s). Really good energy!!!! I’ll be back for that reason and will be mindful to tip properly! 😉

Restaurant is clean, personnel are friendly and hard working. Even though it was slow, everyone stayed busy preparing for the next customers that might come in and posting for a rush. I thought that was very impressive. Quesadilla with pork was fantastic and chips with queso was delicious.

First time coming here, and I got to say the food was on point and excellent! We ordered a lot! We got 7 kids combos with meat quesadillas, two orders of tacos, one was steak, and the other chicken. And they also have beans and rice. Now about the food, the quesdadillas with their chicken were phenomenal, nor gunna lie there. The tacos were delicious as well, but the chicken was definitely better than the steak (steak missed a little more flavour, in my opinion) now for the beans they were good but lacking a little more salt. The rice was alright as well. So out of 5, I gave the food a 5 because it was gooooooooood. Now, the service wasn’t a 5 because I feel like they need to listen more (I speak Spanish and English, and they still seemed confused with my order no matter what language I spoke, it was frustrating) and the service was slow. It’s very, very, very slow, and I know I’m a little in patient with that because I have worked in the industry before and I know things can get chaotic but this was just snail slow lol. BUT if you have the patience to wait, it is delicious!!

First time here ever, restaurant was dirty when I walked in, the man making my bowl rushed me through everything. Girl who checked me out seemed like she hated being there. Barely any meat, barely any pico, barely any cheese, a super small dollop of guac. Bowl was cold after leaving and driving under 5 min back to work. Bland, but not enough of any of the flavors added to bowl to make any difference. Just go to Chipotle up the street. Chipotle’s food, toppings, and taste and serving sizes are a wayyy better than this dump.

We went to eat. So the people who prepared the food were so nice. But the cashier (was a mexican woman) has a bad attitude, was so Rude’.! So I didn’t like it.! She asked me to fill up a survey so i did it (I filled it up). She gave me the desert and we got out of the store. so when we get in our hotel we noticed that the (3 leches desert) were so bad.! Smell so bad. I don’t know why they didn’t notice it was soooo expired.! Really bad.!

I’ve never experienced this before whee the portion was so chintzy that I had to write about it.
Ordered my regular tostada and trusted the guy to fill it up, but as you’ll see from the photo, you can see 1/2 the container’s bottom. Every time I go to their stores minus one time before, the whole container is filled and I walk away with plenty.
Also, the guy didn’t even put the crunchy strips that make it even tastier.
Not sure if management is forcing these guys not to give the normal generous portions or training went wrong.
I tried to make up for it by spraying it with hot sauce.

Just Me
I placed an online order went to pick it up and the door is locked. There is like 4 or 5 ppl in there I knock on the door for 3mins and they look at me and totally ignore me. I ALREADY PAID! THATS RIDICULOUS! They cant even come to the door and say anything just shamelessly ignores me. Why would you allow online orders and lock your doors? POS!!!! I literally work right across the steet and tell my coworkers about this place. I’d rather eat here then Mcdonalds, jacksNthe box or Del taco… I pointed at my phone trying to show them I ordered and paid for it already and they just didnt care. They just wanted to get off work already on a friday night so they locked the door. Mind you I ordered at 9pm they close at 11!!! I will not be coming back. My 1st review was so positive. I deleted it and changed it to a negative one.
