I went to Cafe Rio at around 9pm tonight , and when at the speaker I was told that they were out of steak along with their mango drink. Understandable it’s the end of the night. I did need additional time now to change my order because there is no steak.
When at the speaker , the person on the other end was super rude. I get it’s the end of the night/shift, but the entire transaction was not pleasant. When I asked for extra chicken and fajita veggies, I knew it was an extra charge, but the person (I believe it was a female) on the other end had an attitude. “That’s going to be an extra charge.”
I got to the window and the transaction there was alright. The girl was a bit confused about my total , and didn’t seem like she was comfortable with being at the window, which we all have to learn somehow. Again, I understand.
I get home to eat my food , and I’m excited to indulge in the extra fajita veggies I got on the bowl, keep in mind I paid $17 for this. As to my surprise there were no fajita veggies in the bowl. I was super disappointed with not only the service / unprovoked attitude , but my food too. It just felt like I was being pushed out of the drive through as fast as possible. I was the only one there. Ive never had any issues here before so this was all new.
My food and its quality was overall tasty.

Came in because we had a free entree coupon with the purchase of a drink. Messed up with you coupon but Abel was very helpful. Made our meal well. Clean atmosphere and good food.

I’ve never had an issue at this location but today was a bit different. The cashier at drive thru was impatient and rude. She didn’t take my order right and made us wait to pay. Not polite at all. Food wasn’t tasty either. It had literally 6 pieces of steak in my burrito. The queso wasn’t even melted or baked correctly.

Updated Review, they have definitely improved whichbi am glad. Food was great. Portions were as they should be, it was very good & satisfying!!
The quality & portions have dropped since they first opened, portion is literally half the size, especially on the enchiladas. We got about a good size tablespoon of rice & beans, I hope they get back to grand opening quality!

I gave this place another shot and it was still a letdown with undercooked rice in the Pollo Asado and an elote that tasted like plain canned corn. I was hoping for a solid Chipotle alternative but the quality was so bad I think the owner needs to step up the oversight.

I was super excited when I pulled up and saw there was no one in line to order! I walked in and I believe someone from the back greeted me?? I’m not 100% certain though. I than waited for someone to take my order, I kept waiting, and kept waiting. I watched online order getting filled and people coming and and grabbing to go orders before I finally decided to walk out.
At this point I was going to go through the drive through but I decided against it because I figured sence they were to busy to acknowledge me, they must have a long line of cars piling up. As I pulled out of the parking lot I was shocked to see not a single car in the drive through.
Needles to say I left hungry and disappointed .
I will check back in some time and give an update.

Clean establishment. We went later in the afternoon and there was no line. I ordered a double chicken bowl and it was great! Their servings are large which I love. The food tasted fresh. My wife and son enjoyed their food also.

The place is cute, Clean, and their customer service was excellent. The food wasn’t my taste. I’m Mexican so trying to adjust to this “Mexican” food with a complete different taste was hard. It was good, but it had this sweet taste to the meat and sauce. I couldn’t really get past it. Good food. Good portions. Just wasn’t for me.
