Food. Food wasn’t terrible but there needs to be some improvement. My husband and I ordered chicken salads, queso, and chips. I loved how big the amount of queso is compared to Costa Vida’s. However, the queso was too salty. The salad’s amount was smaller compared to Costa Vida’s. In Costa Vide there are more greens.
Service. Service was amazing. That’s why I gave it five stars. The workers there were very friendly and gave us exactly what we ordered.
Atmosphere. Atmosphere was food. We easily found a clean table. It wasn’t too loud in this place.

Food – they ran out of food . When asked for a refund, they told me no only to give me points on the app which I don’t want to have. I pay extra , guacamole.
Service -worst service ever . I place an online order. They were over 40 min late . People were asking to leave between the unprepared or ran out of food. They didn’t care z no refund no one care . They were threw things together .

Me and my boyfriend came here for my birthday brunch, the service was great. The food was delicious and fresh, I would recommend coming here right after opening because it was all made shortly before we got here. Thank you cafe Rio for delicious food.

Had a hard time communicating with the staff. Was trying to get the meal deal, and the app was having technical difficulties displaying the QR code. The app mentioned we could just tell staff the staff that we were getting the meal deal due to the technical difficulties they were experiencing. But the staff refused to give us the meal deal, and overcharged us for the meal we purchased. We tried several times to explain that the app was telling us that we could get the meal deal without the QR code, but with no success. The cashier lacked English conversational abilities, and unfortunately I don’t speak Spanish so that made things hard . I also found a hair in my food and the restaurant was extremely messy and unkempt . If I could leave 0 stars I would.

The staff is so friendly & efficient here! We had the best service, everyone moved fast, our food was so fresh! The place is clean & easy to find and open table to sit & chat while we ate. Top notch service, I got the sweetest compliment from Tonya that really made my day! Highly recommend this location, we will be back!

We have now given this Cafe rio 4 different tries on different days and times. Unfortunately each time we order for pick up the order is completely wrong or missing a piece of the order. When politely asking the staff for a refund or why the order took 30min-1hr after the scheduled pick up time, they said sorry and they wouldn’t be able to offer a refund even partially. Even when the place was empty, the order was still wrong. I would find it somewhat justifiable if the food was correct and it took a while but wrong food and 30-1hr longer in wait? Eh I think I’ll go to Costa Vita

I have come here a lot and most of the time my pick up orders are not ready at the promised/scheduled time and are not always correct either. Definitely frustrating when you stand by the pick up counter for 20 minutes past the scheduled time and it would have just been faster to go through the regular line. Some employees are also not very friendly. The food is normally good but you don’t get very many chips with your queso and Cafe Rio in general is not the cheapest. I think better management would help.

This place hit the spot. We were returning back home from a road trip. We were starving. We got there at a perfect time when no one was there. The food was served quickly. The staff were all friendly and we left very satisfied. I highly recommend.

I’m honestly really disappointed with my experience at this Café Rio location. When I went in, they were out of multiple key ingredients — including sweet pork, guacamole, pico de gallo, and cilantro (which was extremely low). These aren’t minor toppings; they’re core ingredients for several menu items.
I asked if they had more in the back, and I was told they had zero in the store. When I asked why so many ingredients were unavailable, the staff explained that the owner “didn’t take into effect the warmer weather.”
Running out of staple items like sweet pork and fresh toppings during business hours shows a lack of planning and preparation. It’s frustrating to pay full price when the main components of the meal aren’t even available.
I understand that supply issues can happen occasionally, but this felt like poor management rather than an unexpected shortage. I hope they improve their inventory planning, especially during warmer seasons when business may increase.

We have always loved and enjoyed Cafe Rio’s food, but one thing that makes it so amazing to us, is the amazing staff. They are all so kind and generous, and recently their manger saw me and my cousins sitting at a table (my cousins without food). He was so thoughtful and decided to bring each of them out a plate of food. My cousins were so touched and it was so amazing to see him thinking about his customers like that. Please give Cafe Rio a try guys! The people and the food are amazing! You won’t be disappointed!
