I highly recommend eating at Breakfast Time in Winston-Salem—especially for breakfast! The food always hits the spot, and there’s truly a little something for everyone. No matter what you order, it’s consistently delicious and satisfying.

The staff is just as amazing as the food. Everyone is always kind, personable, and welcoming, serving every meal with a smile on their face. If I was ever missing something or there was an issue with my order, it was always fixed quickly and without hesitation.

I’ve been going to Breakfast Time since I was probably around 6 years old, and to this day it’s still one of my absolute favorite places to get breakfast. Breakfast Time, thank you for being such a big part of my life and for always serving some dang good food. I truly cannot recommend y’all enough! ☕

My daughter and I tried this place for the first time ever. We were impressed. Based on their name, I expected a good breakfast and my expectations were met and exceeded.

Pros: A huge selection of breakfast menu items. Comfortable spacious booth seating. I did see tables & chairs for seating available too. The atmosphere reminded me of how restaurants looked back in the day, that small hometown feel. The customer service was excellent. The quality and quantity of the food was delicious. I felt the prices were affordable for the amount you get. Way better than other breakfast venues that charge a crazy amount for very little. The biggest plus for me was the hashbrown. It’s the good ole fashioned shredded kind with a brown crunchy outer layer. The French toast was amazingly good. I loved the warmed up syrup they provided and the waitress said it was Mrs. Buttersworth! No wonder I loved it.

Cons: The waitress didn’t have a name tag or say her name when greeting us but was very nice and did a great job. It would have been nice to give her a shout-out. My daughter ordered their breakfast potatoes and they did not taste good at all. Not sure if it’s just personal taste or something was wrong but definitely prefer the traditional hash browns. Also, the old timey music was a little bit loud and annoying but my daughter pointed out that they may be catering to the senior crowd. Fair enough.

Overall, I would definitely return for another visit and plan to bring my Mama next time, I feel she will really enjoy it.

My husband and I have been here too many times to count, but this was the first place we ate when first visiting Winston-Salem, now that we live here it is our breakfast staple. This restaurant offers a very down home feel and the waiters work together to make sure your dining experience is a great one. Two person or large group dining is welcome here and they have always been able to accommodate us regardless of the size of our party. We’ve never had a bad experience here, but I definitely suggest getting Andrea’s sampler platter, it is a huge portion of food for a super affordable price. You definitely have to give this place a try, also their live mush is on point here!

I thought this must be a great place. Always has a lot of customers parked outside.
It is a great place. Very friendly and efficient staff, nice clean environment decent prices. My only problem was that my avacado Eggs Benedict came ABSOLUTELY smothered in hollandaise.
Couldn’t see any muffin or avacado, though they were there. It would have been fantastic if about 4/5ths of the hollandaise was left in the kitchen.
Definitely go, Definitely order the avacado eggs Benedict, but with the hollandaise on the side.

Our food was good, potatoes were a little bland but well cooked. The works omelet was filling and had good flavor while the orzo tomato soup with spinach and feta cheese was very good. My wife enjoyed her pancakes and sausage. I would say his is gone cooking fine right.

Get the Andrea’s platter! Best smoked sausage I have had in a very long time not full of grease! The country ham was cooked to protection! The tenderloin was about to just melt in your mouth! My three eggs were perfectly cooked and the food was hot when I got it! My coffee cup was full the whole meal! Let’s not forget my biscuit and that sausage gravy too! Just a great breakfast this morning! Thanks for the grest service and the food!

Good food, you’ll exit this place feeling full. The food is good, well done. The look of the place is alright, though the old signs and decorations look good, give it a style. The food took a while , we gotta consider that it was fourth of July so I understood. It’s a decent place to eat. I liked it.

The wife and I swung in for brunch before doing some Christmas shopping. The wait was about 20 mins, so we sat at the counter, with no wait.

My wife had the tenderloin sandwich and fries. The tenderloin was, well, amazingly tender. And juicy. She said it was one of the better tenderloins she’s had, and she’s a bit of a tenderloin connoisseur. The fries were a bit undercooked, but she still liked them.

I had my go-to omlete. I had the “all meat” omlete. It was really good. Lots of meat and cheese. I had grits as well. They were, well, grits. Pretty standard grits.

Overall, great experience.
