I ordered delivery from this store for the first time tonight and I am over the moon with my experience! I had ordered tacos for Taco Tuesday, naturally, and it turns out they were out of one of the meats I asked for. An employee called me to make sure I got my second choice and to apologize for the inconvenience and I was then offered chips and dip or a dessert. I went with the key lime pie, and my friend on the other line even asked if I wanted whipped cream.
I was already so impressed with the ordering process, that I was even impressed when the food arrived promptly and warm. Everything about my experience was top tier and I highly recommend this restaurant. 10/10

Enrique was amazing! He saw me come in and came to help me right away even tho he was clearly busy. He made my burrito perfectly! He was kind, professional, accommodating, and had a kind and welcoming smile. Store was clean, easy to find, plenty of parking, and my burrito is bomb! Awesome experience!

At first I thought, why open yet another fast-casual fresh-mex place when there are 2 Chipotle and a Qdoba across the street….?
But after our meal, it was clear that Cafe Rio is in a different category.
The menu looks similar at a glance but everything just tastes better, and there are some unique options like Enchiladas, the desserts, the Hot Sauce bar, wider drink selection…the list goes on.
Being a smaller chain and not having to worry about a huge scale like competition really gives Cafe Rio an advantage.
Also, the vibe of the place just feels right. From the design and decor to having an almost completely open kitchen, plus outdoor seating, this is place you’ll want to come back to. Congrats on opening and keep it up!!

If you haven’t tried Cafe Rio, you must! The flavors are above any other semi fast food make in front of you Mexican restaurant. Freshly made tortillas either corn or flour are delicious and tender. If you complete their survey, you can also get a free drink or chips and salsa on next visit. I really like that, rather than filling out a survey for a sweepstakes. Highly recommend for a delicious lunch or catering event.

A great quick spot to eat when you’re in the city. Fresh ingredients with a modern twist on a Mexican food. Definitely more healthy than your average Taco Bell or Tex-Mex space. I would definitely recommend going again.

If I could give more than five stars, I totally would. Matt behind the counter is a rockstar. The food was fantastic, portions were generous, and the staff asked if they could clear our table after noticing we had finished. There’s nothing better than a restaurant that cares about their clientele and you’ll definitely experience that here.

Surprisingly good! Taco Tuesday special is where its at. Left full for under $6. Tortillas are quality and they actually fry up the tacos for you which is cool.

Food was nothing to write home about, and certainly wasn’t good enough to make up for the rest of it. I didn’t get to enjoy the food while it was still warm, as I spent 15 minutes cleaning up my beverage that was given to my Dasher with 1) no ice 2) no lid which means also 3) no safety seal or tape to keep a lid on and thus dumped all over my welcome mat. Never eaten at a Cafe Rio and based on this experience likely won’t again.

If you like Chipotle or Qdoba, you’ll like cafe Rio
The carne asada is delicious, the staff is super friendly, the kitchen is open and the food is made in front of you but is way less pretentious compared to chipotle
They just opened so come by and try your regular “Texican” favorites.
