We were out on the snowmobile trails and went from Kemptville to Almonte. Parked near the beer store and wandered up to this Italian restaurant. Beautiful old building, great staff and friendly service.
We were able to put our helmets on the empty table beside us, thanks for that!
Everything was delicious, I am definitely going back to try items on their menu.
We returned a second time, make sure you make a reservation! You will not be disappointed, I posted more pictures of the amazing meal we had.
The wait staff were a delight.

I asked our beautiful server about her fave item on the menu, she suggested chicken postino and I ordered that. If I go back, I would 100% choose the same dish again and again, Very yummy. and as soon as you enter the restaurant, you can smell the fresh bread and pizza dough that felt very cozy and made you feel even hungrier.

Had my birthday dinner here and it was wonderful. Our server was very sweet and helpful. We started with the calamari and shrimp mediterranean salad, which was so fresh and tasty, I loved it. We ordered the baked salmon over arugula pesto pasta and the lobster ravioli, both of which were delicious. Also ordered the bruschetta and also was good. Cappuccino at the end. Nothing was disappointing. Smiles all around, thanks for a memorable night! Highly recommend.

This past November, we celebrated my husband’s birthday and didn’t know what to expect at this first lunch time visit. The place was full! On a Saturday, we were surprised to see that only our reserved table was free. Service was prompt and professional, there were no long wait periods.
From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were coming home. Smiles, fast and courteous service, and absolutely delicious food. From our fried calamari, warm fresh bread, lasagna, pasta du jour, and lemon cake (5-layer carrot cake for Birthday Boy) for dessert, everything was fresh, the right temperature and served promptly. We know we will return often to try the whole menu! And bring our friends and family!
My husband’s favourite is always Lasagna, however, he is ready to try new things. We can’t wait! Hope your visit is as good as ours!

What an incredible experience! This restaurant was phenomenal, I would highly recommend it to all. We stopped in on a Saturday around dinner with no reservations. The restaurant was fully booked, and they still managed to sit four of us on the patio comfortably. From the appetizers, fresh calamari, and delicious caprese salad, to the main entree , beef short rib which was highly recommended by our amazing server to the decadent tiramisu and chocolate fudge cake. We will definitely be back. Everything was delicious. Our compliments to the chef!!

My partner and I went to Café Postino for late lunch on a Sunday afternoon after walking around the main street window shopping.
The dinning room is very nice and fairly large, with high ceilings. There are some tables available on the patio as well.
We shared a Claudius Caesar salad and a Chimera pizza. The food was delicious and portions were big … too much for one person, but perfect to share. The service was friendly and fast.

I will say straight away the reason I gave four and not five stars is because this restaurant is not accessible. I will continue to leave my food review, which is very favourable below.
We had picked out things on the menu and then the server came and said do you want to hear the special well I can say I’m really glad I said yes. Really that is all you need to know. The most tender beef I’ve ever had, smooth garlic mashed potatoes to die for, and roasted seasonal veggies. Plus they brought us a loaf of bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar…YUM.
I hope to go back!
