The staff were super friendly and the food was phenomenal! I went here with a couple of friends so I could try shwarma for the first time and I was beyond impressed! Also, when I found out they served traditional turkish coffee I was super excited to try it and it was also phenomenal. The place is clean, but I would say it’s not decorated the best especially should be more Mediterranean themed. Definitely recommend for a casual date, friend hangout, or a bite to eat!

The place has a relaxed atmosphere and the service was friendly. We ordered a beef shawarma wrapped in a thin flatbread, and it was really tasty well seasoned and full of flavor. We also tried the fried mushrooms, which were delicious, perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside — a real treat for anyone who loves mushrooms. The sauces were excellent, and the red wine was the perfect touch to finish off a cozy, enjoyable dinner.

This is by far the best place to have a nice casual dining experience in Dalton. And, to benefit, it is healthy food and freshly prepared! I have met the owner ( he always greets you) and want him to know that he has proven, with good training, all employees can be nice. Every one of them greets you with a smile, thanks you and helps to create an amazing environment around the great food.
There is a book called “unreasonable Hospitality” which chronicles all the things a dining establishment can do to drive customer experience and cost nothing. Cafe Ostro has “it”! Thank you for a great meal and experience.

The food here is beyond delicious. The staff is super friendly and it’s very clean. We drive 40 minutes just to eat here because everything is phenomenal. Their roasted red peppers and hummus are just 2 of my favorites. I’ve never had a disappointing meal here.

My favorite place to eat in town! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Every dish is full of authentic Mediterranean and Turkish flavors, and you can really taste the quality. The service is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend , everything we’ve tried has been amazing.

I just want to leave this constructive feedback: I’m a little bummed out that the food I had the other night was not what it used to be. The last 2 times I’ve eaten here was not the best, but not the worst thing either. I paid over $25 for a single meal which included a plate, some hummus, and a drink which was already super expensive. A competitor’s food not only costs less, but also provides a larger plate and has a better and more fresh taste. This isn’t to trash the restaurant. The owner and staff are good people. It’s just hard to justify paying over $15-$20 for a meal and still not be great. Just average. I hope you can bring up the quality and portion size and bring down your costs.
