Really wanted to love it. The house chips appetizer was really good.
The fries were very well salted and cooked well. The deep fries sandwich was a total miss for us. The batter/bread was way too thick and drowned out all flavor.
The onion rings had 10/10 potential but were devoid of salt. The patty melt was pretty good, but needed more sauce to balance it.
Restaurant was really dark and one of the servers was an absolute train wreck.
Our server was excellent though. Clearly the highlight of the meal

We have eaten several times. It’s always been REALLY good, not today. My mom ordered fried catfish. And I got a grilled chicken sandwich.
Hers came out blackened, she asked the waitress if it was fried and she said yes. It was blackened and so salty you couldn’t eat it. I had eaten over half my chicken sandwich when I realized it was raw on the inside. So I stopped eating mine, my mom’s was so salty you couldn’t eat it. She was eating her salad and I looked over and saw something in it. A long dark hair. We were done after that. We went to pay and they asked how it was. We told them, they wouldn’t make eye contact, just said I’m sorry and charged us full price for food that wasn’t edible. Poor customer service and we will not be back.

This restaurant is inviting and comfortable. The people who work there are great and very hospitable! The food is absolutely delicious and they provide large portions at a good price. We will definitely go back!

The fries are the best I’ve ever had–think Steak Escape fries done right, not greasy. The catfish was wonderful when I first tried it so we came back with a group of 6 and everyone ordered the catfish at my recommendation only to find that they had salted it to death. We haven’t been back since.

Great spot for lunch. It is a little pricey, but the food is worth it. I had a very good bowl of broccoli cheese soup as well as a burger and chips. Their chips taste homemade, not some crappy stuff from a bag. The service was excellent, although I was there late in the afternoon and there weren’t too many other tables. Great find!

Stopped in for dinner on a Wednesday and I wasn’t even sure if it was open because there was no one in there. So glad we went in!! We started off with the fries, then I got the buffalo Mac and cheese and my husband got the bbq pulled pork. Everything came out piping hot and in big portions. It was also all soooo good!! I had enough leftover for two more meals. The side salad was a perfect size. Most places the salads are big enough to have as a stand alone meal. The atmosphere was quiet but kind of boring. Overall I think it’s a great little hidden gem

Last time I ate there, the food was awful really bad. The french fries look like they’re old and soggy and burned. My hotdog was no good. It was burnt. I mean, if you can’t even make a good chili hotdog and french fries definitely this place has a problem. The prices are outrageous too.

First time eating here but won’t be the last. The food was tasty and the service was great. Our waitress was friendly and personable. The food was cooked perfectly and was so flavorful. You could tell the recipes were simple but so good. The fried green tomatoes were my favorite and were cooked just the way my daddy used to.

This was down the street from our Airbnb and had really good reviews and I can see why. The prices are very reasonable, the portion was very sizable and I just loved my salmon patties. I haven’t had them for years and I feel like I will now crave these. My friend loved her hotdog and her chips were fantastic. The only complaint I had is the french fries were really soggy. The food came out extremely fast and Service was very prompt. The atmosphere is very simple. I would definitely come back here again.
