The food is freshly prepared and exceptionally delicious. Service was somewhat slow due to high customer volume. Our waiter was friendly, though other staff had limited interaction with us. The coffee was also freshly brewed. Early arrival is recommended, as the establishment fills quickly upon opening. I plan to return.

I finally had the chance to visit “Cafe on the Abbey,” and it did not disappoint! This charming café has a unique and special atmosphere that makes it stand out. I absolutely loved the patio; it’s a perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee.
The coffee itself was excellent—rich and flavorful. I didn’t try the food this time but noticed many sweet options.

What makes it even better is that the café is part of a complex that includes a beautiful new hotel called “The Principal” and an amazing wedding venue, all right there. The staff was friendly, and I really enjoyed the welcoming vibe of the town. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend visiting!

Tried Bacon cheese and egg Croissants (IMO would have been better of bottoms were toasted) and a coffee flight. Flight was great you got to try 4 coffees at once.

This spot is truly a hidden gem.

Coffee: I’m very picky when it comes to coffee and worked as a barista so I know good coffee, and their coffee is good. Lots of flavors/roasts to choose from and they update their drink menu every now and then with fun combinations.

Food: Their food is presented well and tastes very good. Fresh fruits, fluffy waffles, etc. They also have a yummy pastry case and offer thanksgiving catering, holiday related gifts like chocolate easter bunnies for example, and more.

Atmosphere: Located in a cute little town with fun shops to explore after you eat, the building itself is beautiful and you can eat outside on a cute patio when the weather is nice. Their logo is very cute as well.

Service: Service is pretty good, they take care of your to go orders very thoughtfully. It is pretty busy sometimes so when you walk in you won’t always be met by somebody and you might be confused if you have to wait to be sat, but i’ve found you can usually just walk in and sit down.

Price: Gets expensive quick, this is a nice treat for once in a blue moon. I put $50-100 because I always eat here with someone and the price ends up around 50-60 ish, tax and tip included.

Overall: 5/5.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Danny and his team at Cafe on the Abbey for our rehearsal dinner, wedding cocktail hour, and dessert bar. The quality of the food was exceptional, and the creativity behind each dish truly stood out. Every bite was a delight, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the experience.

Thank you, Danny, for making our special day even more memorable with your outstanding service and delicious cuisine!

Quaint little cafe with a small but well executed menu. The pastry cabinet too is small, but the goodies are large and look amazing. I was quite impressed!

Got the breakfast special. 2 eggs, 1 biscuit covered in gravy, half a ham steak and potato pancakes. Everything needed seasoning. Well except the ham steak. The eggs, cooked to order. Biscuit and Gravy was good. The potato pancakes, let’s say different. Cross between a hash browns and pancakes. Had creamy taste, thought it might be a cheese. Nope it was sour cream. Not my taste profile. Next time I’d get the American fries. Wife’s BLT was a little lacking flavor. Tomato slice only had one side and very lite on mayo. Bacon was good. Daughter had the Belgian waffles with sausage with strawberries on the side. It was very good. So change up the order a little and I got to season everything could a five star. Server was very nice and attentive. Will be back to try something different.
