This is a good stop, amazing location for me, I was hoping to love it. Food is good .
The person serving here is the less friendly woman I’ve seen. Not a friendly smile. Respond to questions as if you should already know.
Just because of this lady I won’t go back!!!!!
No dressing or ají for Empanada. I asked about the dressing for empanada and the lady just said: oh es Que tienes que pedirla. (How the customer supposed to know?) so I asked please to get one and she said: no we don’t have lol!
Wanted to love it. This lady made me hate it. She makes you want to leave the place asap!

Awesome coffee and empanada spot in Montopolis. Get the chicken empanada and a cafe con leche while working on a crossword puzzle

Hands down one of the best cafes I have been to. I ordered an item and the owner suggested an item only served on the weekends that was close to what I ordered. I took her suggestion and it was awesome! I got a cold brew with oat milk and caramel. It was delicious! The coffee had a deep, rich flavor. It was extremely affordable! I will definitely be going back!

The quality of this “cafe” has gone down drastically.
The service is appalling, and very inconsiderate of its guest.
Today’s experience started out with the lady behind the counter saying that I could not drink the coffee I brought from another location, as it had a logo. I have never seen any signs that say no outside food or drinks allowed.
As of 12pm they had run out of arepas and they had no sauce for their empanadas.
Once we ordered our 4 empanadas: 3 chicken, 1 beef, and a coke for $29.35, two of the four were cold! To the center, it felt like it was just taken out of the fridge, we told the lady and she didn’t even apologize for giving us cold food. She did take it back to rewarm.
Additionally, when my husband went to ask for forks and knifes, she was distracted with her friends at the cafe, and made my husband wait to be given the basic utensils for our food.
This whole experience has made me rethink of coming back, rude staff, inconsistent food, and overall a very negative environment.
During our time there, 2 people (the staff friends) were sitting at the counter, and one person came in to get coffee, and my husband and I. The place was not busy, there was absolutely no reason to get this bad of service. The cafe didn’t even try to do a service recovery; they just gave us the empanada back and didn’t not apologize for their lack of service.

Love this place. The coffee is so good and I was glad they were able to accommodate non dairy milk. I had the beef empanadas and the alfajores. They were delicious. Their prices are very fair and the place is super cute. I do recommend!

Great little cafe. We enjoyed the empanadas and the alfarjos! The location is far out, but it’s super cosy and nice. It is a small cafe and only two people working there so the serving time is small. Authentic experience.

Let me start by saying that this place is underrated. This is a beautiful little south American coffee joint, very clean, amazing interior decor, fantastic empanadas and mind-blowing Cuban coffee. The place is run by one of the best people you can ever talk to, she is amazing. I’ll suggest everyone to give this place a try and give Starbucks a break for once. I can’t wait to come back. Repeating the fact that the empanadas are amazing and you must try it. They have a big table for groups, they have Hugh chairs and outdoor seating too. Parking is free and accessible and it isn’t very crowded, that’s a good thing but again that also means not a lot of people know about this amazing place. Highly recommended and must try if you are in Austin. This place deserves more reviews.

Loved this cozy bakery! My husband and I have been drawn by the culture and food of Paraguay and we found this place… We tried their empanadas, chipa and pastafrola and they were absolutely amazing… Coffee was great and Elena (owner) was so kind and welcoming. We even had a pleasant and interesting conversation about the beauty of our countries (Puerto Rico and Paraguay). If you want to experience a little bit of the warmth of Paraguay, this is the place. Thank you so much!

Super super cute decor. Clean and cozy.

The baked goods are made fresh daily.

There are so many authentic south American treats here I can’t wait to bring my parents here when they visit.

It’s awesome to see a mother and daughter running such a homey Cafe.
