I highly recommend visiting Cafe Nena’i if you want to enjoy a delicious coffee in the morning and indulge in a delightful South American breakfast treat. During my visit, I tried their Cafe Con Leche and absolutely loved it. Additionally, their Pollo empanada was very delicious, filled with ample amounts of meat, complemented by a flavorful sauce and a tasty dough. And to top it off, the Alfajor was simply delightful.

I’m visiting from good ol Atlanta, and I wish we had this shop there. It’s a small shop but powerful with all they do. From the boldness of the coffee to the pure delight you get from eating the pastries. Add on exceptional service and this is the spot to go! Highly recommend

We tried Cafe Nena’i for the first time and are already looking forward to coming back! The cortadito was smooth, rich, and sweet. We also really enjoyed the empanada de pollo with their chimichurri (very flavorful and lots of meat), arepa (very fluffy dough), bollo con guava (great balance of guava and donut), and factura de guayaba y queso (our favorite pastry). The staff were also very kind and welcoming! There’s a good amount of parking spaces around the building too.

Great little cafe. We enjoyed the empanadas and the alfarjos! The location is far out, but it’s super cosy and nice. It is a small cafe and only two people working there so the serving time is small. Authentic experience.

A great cafe tucked away in southern east Austin! I received great service, my Americano was great, and my pastry was nice and flaky. It has an inviting and warm atmosphere and you’re sure to feel at home here.

I’ve been wanting to try this place out, and it did not disappoint. I loved my breakfast (coffee and a yummy pastry that was recommended by the owner) so much that I grabbed a fancy canned soda and a spinach and cheese empanda to go. It’s such a cute little spot, will def revisit again.

Let me start by saying that this place is underrated. This is a beautiful little south American coffee joint, very clean, amazing interior decor, fantastic empanadas and mind-blowing Cuban coffee. The place is run by one of the best people you can ever talk to, she is amazing. I’ll suggest everyone to give this place a try and give Starbucks a break for once. I can’t wait to come back. Repeating the fact that the empanadas are amazing and you must try it. They have a big table for groups, they have Hugh chairs and outdoor seating too. Parking is free and accessible and it isn’t very crowded, that’s a good thing but again that also means not a lot of people know about this amazing place. Highly recommended and must try if you are in Austin. This place deserves more reviews.
