Absolutely lovely restaurant, with delicious food and a wonderful ambiance (light jazz with warm orange lighting)! All the food and DESSERTS were amazing!!! The bread pudding is a MUST!!!!!

Traveling for work and find myself in Clayton at least once a month. I find myself coming to Cafe Napoli every month. The food is excellent and the service is consistently on point. This last time was my first time sitting and eating at the bar. Alyssa, our bartender and server extraordinaire was amazing. She was extremely friendly, super helpful with the menu and great recommendations. Felt right at home with Alyssa’s warm and friendly smile and attitude as I have with everyone else who’s ever served me here. 100% recommend Cafe Napoli and if you get a chance Alyssa! If you get the opportunity to meet her ask for the Han Bomb!

Went on Valentine’s Day . Wasn’t aware of the limited menu but I understand it was on a busy day so it makes sense . Loved our waiter Trey ! He was everything & full of energy even towards the last hour. Always excellent customer service , good food & drinks ! Will be back as always .

TLDR: Don’t give up on the St Louis restaurant scene, there’s better out there
Super disappointing, given the hype & reviews around this being one of the best restaurants in STL. Perhaps it was where I was seated – pretty boring, stodgy & darkly lit area. Never seen so many old white people in one place before
The service was dismissive and offhand, the food was really really ordinary, the ambience was not there.
That said, the vibe on the patio outside seemed completely different, a different crowd, a lot more patio and cocktails vibe to it. So perhaps yes is was where I was seated, but not there’s no chance I’m ever returning, I can think of other places to spend $100

Erin was wonderful!!! She was knowledgeable about wines, steaks, menu, and made our experience wonderful. Hannah as well was so sweet and kind! My best friend and I had the best time here. Highly recommend dirty martinis and the cote de province rosé. Will definitely be back again to see Erin and Hannah! 🙂

My siblings took me here for dinner on my birthday. The food and drinks was absolutely delicious! Our waiter was so polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He really was great! We had a nice booth like seating, that made it seem all exclusive like, the way it curved. Very fancy, nice restaurant. I even used valet parking for the first time and that was reasonable priced. All and all I was impressed with the establishment. Forgot to get a picture of my brother’s pasta he had and the seating but it was all good. The waiter even brought out some cool dessert with a lite candle on it for my birthday. It was nice!
