Milou bar is for sure the best ratio quality cost of the area. This is the less flashy brasserie of Montparnasse but you will eat here some true home made cuisine, and really traditional French one such as ris-de-veau or frog leg. The terrace is very convenient on warm days. And the plates are generous. Give it a try, you won’t regret.

Omg this place was soooooo good! The food was so fresh and delicious. We can’t read french but they had wifi so we could google translate the menu. Went for the baked goats cheese salad and duck confit with dauphine potatoes. Great portion sizes and good value for Paris! Will be recommending it to everyone we know. We loved sitting overlooking the park too. Very chill vibes. Merci!

I really wonder why this place has a 3.7 overall rating, it should definitely be above 4.5, you have to try it to know what I’m talking about. The restaurant’s vibes are awesome, staff is always active and smiling, service is great and the food is good as well. We tried the Confit du canar which is a speciality in that area, and the chicken burger which is also super delicious. Prices are fair to what you get, the surrounding is active and they got an outdoor seating area for summer time and smoking.

Server charged me an extra euro for my drink claiming that the price on menu board was for when you’re at the bar. The bar has only two seats. 😀
Other than that, quite an alright place in the 14e arrondissement.

Amazing food, great atmosphere. Friendly staff! Didn’t need to book a table, we went quite late around 9/10pm. Cocktails were also delicious. We had 2 cocktails, food which was a main and starters.. oh and desert!

The food was good, but the service was a disaster. The waiter treated us as idiots even though we all spoke French fluently. He made too many mistakes. I can’t even make a list; it’s too long. A mouse ran into the space where we had dinner; he told us: « What do you expect? It’s Paris.» I have nothing against mice, but I don’t think it’s hygienic at a resto. In Spain, restaurants invite you and do not allow you to pay the bill if something like that occurs. We did pay the bill. I live in Paris and don’t mind rats and mousse in the metro, but that’s a restaurant! At least be polite! I don’t think we’ll be back. We laugh about it all but a dinner among friends is way better with good service considering the Paris prices.

Went jn just for dessert. We ordered a tiramisu and a creme brulee. The creme brulee was already expected to be great but what caught me by surprise was the tiramisu. IT CAME IN A JAR THE SIZE OF YOUR WATER GLASS!!! NO ONE SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO SERVE IT LIKE THAT….. ITS TOOO GOOD!!!
The creme brulee was decadent and soft. The thin layer of sugar was just right.
The tiramisu had a rich decadent mouth feel with a subtle flavor of cream that paired very well with the espresso soaked lady’s fingers.
This has to be a must try for the price and for the taste!!
