You could call Cafe McBryde a hole-in-the-wall however it has the feel of a familiar local spot. The walls are adorned with an eclectic array of artwork and the tables are filled with a diverse range of folks.

The mother daughter duo were very friendly and expedient in their food delivery. The food was outstanding too.

There’s a vegetarian and a vegan section clearly marked on the menu, which I appreciated.

I plan to make my way back soon.

One of the last of a dying breed, this great old school family style diner serves up favorites that made American breakfast great. Pancakes, eggs, sandwiches, you name it they have it.
My test was, and it always is to order an eggs benedict with a bacon substitution, and it was great! I just wish that they had toasted the English muffin a little bit more, but other than that it was great. And in a land of double low-fat pumpkin decaf lattes, a nice straight up cup or two of black drip coffee, really brings the whole breakfast experience together. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a little bit of America, and it’s inexpensive..
Highly recommended.

My better half and I decided to hit up this hidden gem fueled by stellar reviews, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer. The grub was nothing short of fantastic. The missus went all-in for the banana pancakes, and I’ve got to say, they were next-level. As for our scrambled eggs jazzed up with our favorite veggies – absolute perfection.

Now, let’s talk service. Leslie, our speedy, courteous server, brought the A-game. The French toast? Unquestionably one of the best I’ve savored in ages. The place got a bit buzzing post 11 o’clock, but fear not, a table or two still up for grabs.

Leslie, our breakfast wizard, orchestrated the morning feast flawlessly. This spot has skyrocketed to the top of our breakfast haven list. Trust us, if you’re on the prowl for a stellar morning meal, this joint is the real deal. Leslie and the whole breakfast experience get a resounding thumbs up from us – a must-try in our breakfast adventure log!

Vegetarian omelette was great! And our coffee and food came quickly. Will definitely go again. They have tables outside which would be great on warmer days.

This was a lovely spot to stop for a late breakfast consisting of French toast with 2 eggs and sausage, and my companion had a huge tuna salad.

We arrived shortly after 1 p.m. and were done just a few minutes before 2 p.m., their weekday closing time. The wait was very reasonable. The coffee, was just $2.75 then, but increased to $3 in late 2024. It was fresh with just about all the fixings at arm’s reach and refillable!

The prices are quite reasonable compared to many comparable establishments and considering the rate of inflation. I was glad the cafe was empty after the main stream lunch crowd, since I’m still very cautious with the spread of COVID. There were at least two to-go orders filled while we were there. The tables all appeared to be clean as well as their single handicap accessible restroom, which was clean and well stocked.

The waitress was friendly and talkative, but did not bother us. She checked on us a couple times and offered to refill our coffee.

I did not take photos of their menu, since someone else recently posted them, in part.

We’ve since become regulars here! I finally tried their vegan wrap, which I believe vegetarians would enjoy. It tasted salt free, so a light coat of ketchup did the trick for me.

Overall: Reasonably priced, scrumptious food, clean establishment, and friendly staff.

This is the best kept secret if you’ve never been here. A nice hole in the wall that’s quaint with a great staff and awesome patrons (cops included ). The service is fantastic, the portions are good and the food is GREAT!

Woah, what a difference change of ownership makes. Haven’t been here for years due to past experiences. Now, the staff has put this on my go to lists for meals.

Leslie helped us that morning. Ordering and receiving are food was quick. We ordered the pancakes, two egg breakfast platter and guess what?! They have vegetarian AND vegan options, so I had a vegan breakfast burrito. Very enjoyable. Loved the food (thank you chef) and service (thank you Leslie).

Street parking.

I was here on a busy sunday and service was still good! My only complaint was my scramble was pretty overcooked. I was starving that morning didn’t matter much tho! I’ll definitely go back again!

This is my families favorite breakfast spot, staff is experienced and attentive. Love the food, their portions are not huge. And food has flavor without a ton of salt and oil.

Love our local neighborhood cafe! Today I tried the Savannah…..waffle with sliced bananas and caramel sauce. While caramel sauce isn’t my first choice I decided to try something that I normally would not order. Boy, am I glad that I did! This is my new favorite. I also ordered a side of bacon, crispy (I love my bacon almost burnt) and it was served exactly as if I cooked it myself. Keep doing breakfast the way you do it, Denise and crew!
