Cafe Lala is a must-visit spot, especially in the morning, when they serve their own unique version of Korean gimbap. On top of that, they offer drinks and treats you won’t easily find at other cafés.

Their signature flavored coffees are always excellent, and my personal favorites are the Einspänner, grapefruit slush, and fresh strawberry milk — all absolutely delicious. And whatever you do, don’t skip the cheesecake. It’s a must-try!

At first, the staff’s manner might come across as a little curt, but regulars know the truth: the owner and staff are total tsundere types. They may not show it openly, but they have a subtle, caring way of looking after you — and it’s oddly addictive. I’ve grown to love it so much that I actually look forward to it now.

So don’t misunderstand — give it a few visits. By the third time, you’ll probably find yourself hooked on that unique “tsundere” service too.

This is one of my favorite cafes!
I live about half an hour away but drive all the way here with my kids often because their drinks and desserts are unique. They have the best einspanners(many fun varieties), ades, and small bites. My favorites are the grapefruit slush and their mini kimbap and egg sandwiches. They also sell bottled strawberry and chocolate milk along with black tea milk and coffee milk-all so delicious. They have parking in front and back, and spacious areas to sit inside. Bathroom is also big and clean! Go and check them out!

As a recent new resident of Ft lee NJ I have been so lucky to find Cafe Lala. Quickly it has become my favorite cafe. The coffee and food is as good as it gets. Gourmet in every sense of the word. The highest quality coffee I’ve ever had. They have an incredible selection of lattes… everyone as remarkable as the previous. The employees are genuinely happy to see you which is such a different vibe than most places you immediately recognize it. The owner is just wonderful. Everytime I come I get treated like a king. She is always giving away little things here and there as a token of her gratitude. I just can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s worth the drive from NYC… it’s that good. But the thing that keeps me coming back is the coffee. I have never had such high quality coffee in my life. Every drink is made with care and that’s no exaggeration. They sincerely care about every drink made. You truly must come here to see for yourself. If I could give Cafe LaLa 6 stars I would! And one more thing… the French toast is DELICIOUS.

This place is a local hidden gem. There isn’t shortage of mega bakeries and Korean cafes in Fort Lee and Palisades Park. But to me, this place stands out.

It looks like the owner of this cafe put his/her soul and spirit into everything in the cafe. From little interior props to utensils to home made madeleines. All beverages and the food, even boiled eggs and spicy kimbop, were super tasty. And the best : this place is relatively quiet. I’ve been longing for a cafe like this for a long time. I will be a frequent visitor.

This is my new favorite café in NJ! Their Dolce Latte is absolutely the best — I’ve been wanting to try it ever since I saw it on the Starbucks Korea menu (which we don’t get here in the States), and I finally found it at this gem of a place.

I also tried their Lala Toast, spicy tuna kimbap, and egg sandwich — everything was spot on and so delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and cute, and the whole café is very clean and well maintained. I can definitely see myself becoming a regular here!
Oh and the grapefruit slushhhhhh!!!!!!
It’s the bestest

Amazing selection of drinks and great service. This cafe uses high quality milk and it definitely makes their drinks extra delicious! They also bake madeleines freshly in-house and have a variety of flavors all worth trying.

Both in person dining and take out, by far this cafe is one of my top favorite cafes in the area. Down from the aesthetic of the cafe, spacious layout to bring friends or even yourself, to the plentiful choices of drink, food, and pastries there’s never a day where I’m ever disappointed. Not the mention how kind the staff has always been to me, especially on days when I want to switch things up and they always suggest something so tasty, fresh, and enjoyable at SUCH GREAT PRICES! They always surprise me with a little extra and it’s the sweetest thing. Love it here so much. Can’t wait to come visit here again

Cafe Lala is such a cute and cozy spot—perfect for relaxing with a good drink and just enjoying the vibe. Everything feels warm and welcoming, and it’s one of those cafés you end up staying at longer than you planned.

The drinks are always delicious and nicely made, and the desserts never disappoint either. It’s a great place to catch up with a friend, get a little work done, or just enjoy some quiet time with a coffee.

This place? Absolute winner. My kids are obsessed with the Daejibar(?) Einspanner (can you blame them?) and I’m loyal to the Black Sesame Einspanner it’s just too good to cheat on.
The Grapefruit Slush is like a cold slap of summer freshness (in the best possible way) and the Grapefruit Honey Black Iced Tea? It’s got that chewy thing going on that somehow makes drinking feel like a mini adventure.
The staff? Super friendly.
And the owner? Just as nice. Honestly, there’s zero excuse not to drop by.it’s the perfect summer hideout for cooling off with the kids.
Oh, and pro tip: don’t forget to grab a bottle of strawberry milk on your way out and stash it in the fridge at home. Future you will thank you!
