I sometimes feel hesitant when I drive long distances to try a new restaurant, because there’s a lot more time commitment. The food here is absolutely worth driving an hour for. I’d drive 3 hours for the pupusas served here. It’s a very unassuming location, but the food is incredible.

Hidden little gem! The carne asada pupusas and tacos were our favorite, but everything was delicious!
The mom and daughter working there were so nice and made our food quickly and with care.

Wow! Fantastic food. Great service. I had carne Asad tacos and a jalapeño cheese papusa. Date had tamales and taco. Probably one of the best carne asada tacos, ever!
We like their food truck and really enjoyed dinner in the restaurant.

We had wanted to have Salvadoran food and saw the high ratings, and so we decided to give this place a try. My friend and I both got the pupusas, and she also got a taco, and I got the pastelitos. Everything was very good and made to order and the food seemed to be fresh and good quality. We will definitely be coming back here soon.

My wife and 17yo were craving Mexican food, so we decided we wanted to try something new. We have passed by this place many times always saying we need to try it. Well this time we did!
We were all glad we did. My wife and 11yo got tacos and my 17yo and I chose the quesadillas. They all did carne asada and I did the chicken. We all sampled each other’s food and I couldn’t believe how much flavor each item had. I can honestly say my chicken quesadilla was the best I’d ever had.
I will definitely be back to try something new. I know I won’t be disappointed!

What a wonderful place to eat! The carne asada tacos were fantastic! Their pupusas were incredible! A definite MUST TRY! We will definitely be back. The food was delicious, obviously made with love!!! It was clean and we enjoyed the atmosphere. I’m sad that we didn’t know they’ve been there for 2 years. Glad we know now! 🙂

I happened upon Cafe La Vos at their food truck during the Ogden Farmers Market today. My partner and I ordered pupusas with carne asada, curtido on the side, and an agua fresca de maracuyá (passion fruit juice) to drink. The pupusas were fresh and crispy on the outside, perfectly cheesy and soft in the middle, with delicious bits of tender meat. We topped ours with salsa verde, which paired beautifully with the flavors.
The curtido was perfectly pickled. Slightly sweet, tangy, and just a little spicy. The agua fresca was a touch sweeter than I prefer, but still refreshing and full of flavor.
I’ve driven past this restaurant before but hadn’t had the chance to stop in. After trying their food truck, I’ll definitely be making the trip with my family next time. Whether you’re new to Salvadoran food or already love it, I highly recommend giving Café La Vos a try.

Great value home cooking, fresh and delicious. 7 in Pupusa and one tamale, I was stuffed spending about $12. Salsa and pickled onion jalapeño relish are flavor bombs. Will definitely be back.

It’s been a while since I’ve had yucca frita and pupusas. It’s hard to find pupusas that remind me of the ones a relative, from El Salvador, makes. These were very close!
The food is fresh and I really enjoyed the fusion of traditional Mexican and Salvadorian flavors. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. I’ll definitely be back!
(Ignore the presentation in the yucca frita video. I dug in before remembering to take a picture. I promise, it came out looking beautiful!)
