Nice place. Cappuccino was yummy and it tasted like it should. Plenty of seating area. I’m here on Thursday afternoon it was peaceful and the service was great.

¡Ay Dios Mío! What an amazing place. Cafe La Selva has somehow managed to ruin every other cup of coffee I’ve ever had before or since tasting their exquisite coffee! We were staying just across the street and my only regret was not coming in sooner. Forever these beans will live in infamy. Little snacks with every purchase, the chocolate-covered coffee beans were also the best ever. Beautiful art, great atmosphere helpful staff, charming place. Don’t come here unless you plan on hating every cup of coffee that’s NOT Cafe La Selva.

I attempted to pay twice with my card, but the cashier rejected this payment method both times. My first purchase was over $200, and the second was over $400. To make matters worse, she accepted a card payment from the customer in front of me

Location is perfect. The actual place is very nice! I took one star away because the service was not so good. I took another star off because the food came out at random times. By the time I got my food, my dad was already done eating.

I’ve been going here for a few years now, whenever I’m in San Cristóbal. Such a wonderful café! Great coffee of course, the tamales are the best I’ve had in town, the patio/courtyard is gorgeous and they even have real newspapers like classic cafés used to have. Service is excellent and one can buy packaged coffee up front. Be aware, due to the historical nature of the building, there’s no sign out front… the entrance is right at the SW corner of Crescencio Rosas and Cuauhtémoc.

The coffee in particular is infinitely good. DO NOT PATRONIZE THE STARBUCKS that has infiltrated this jewel of a city when you can give your business to a San Cristobal staple like Cafe la Selva. Come here often, you’ll love it, as I do.

Coffee roasters and cafe. The patio is a great place to chat over a strong americano.

The Sierra Madre double roasted ground coffee is delicious and just happens to be their most economical coffee to buy. Haven’t had anything else here.
