We were in town around the new years and we found this spot on Google Maps. We saw their extensive list of cappuccinos and immediately had to try this spot out! If you’re a coffee fiend, definitely get one or more of their cappuccinos. We got three, two for before our lunch and one to enjoy with our desserts which also are a must! My bf ordered their grilled chicken sandwich and he LOVED it! He claimed it was his favorite meal he had on our trip (and we had a lot of great food). I ordered their smoked salmon benedict and I also really enjoyed it. We would definitely come back to this spot and order the same dishes and drinks, or even try new ones. The place was also beautiful and the service was phenomenal.

A truly sophisticated space with a distinct European charm. The décor is beautiful, very Venetian in style, elegant yet inviting.
The berry tart was phenomenal, imported from Milan, Italy, and absolutely worth savoring. The cappuccino was equally impressive rich and full-bodied, with a pronounced coffee flavor, which I much prefer over overly mild, dessert-like versions.
My daughter also thoroughly enjoyed her crêpes. Overall, a delightful experience that feels authentically European.

Café Intermezzo is a hidden gem in downtown Nashville. It has a unique, old-school European café vibe, which really sets it apart. The service was excellent, coffee and cocktails were fantastic, and the food was consistently good.
The Italian bruschetta is a must-try, the baked brie was fantastic, and their pastries are absolutely amazing. Everything tasted fresh and well done. Definitely a place I’d go back to.

Such a fun little spot in Nashville. It has strong European vibes the moment you walk in. Cozy and full of character.
I ordered the berry tart and it was excellent. Not overly sweet and clearly made with care. Perfect with coffee.
Even the small details made me smile. You get a mini foreign language lesson when you go to the WC, which somehow fits the place perfectly.
Great atmosphere and a place I’d happily return to.

I can’t say much about the full dining experience since I came here just for the desserts, but they were highly recommended, and they absolutely lived up to the hype. Each dessert was incredible, beautifully made, and packed with flavor. I’ve already been back twice, and I’d easily give this place a 10 out of 10 for its desserts alone.

I loved the whole experience. The colors, the service, and the food were just what I can expect of a place like this. I loved it and I am coming back and bringing friends as well. They even play a recording in the bathroom teaching Italian words

One of my favorite cafés in all of Nashville. I’ve been here several times and have worked my way through a lot of the menu, and it’s consistently great. The Turkish coffee is always a must-order, and their herb cream cheese on a croissant is absolutely amazing. The staff are always characters in the best way—fun, engaging, and memorable—which really adds to the experience. Highly recommend.

This is the most wonderful place to eat in Nashville. The moment you walk in you are transported from the busy streets of the city to a world of peace and charm. The service is always so polite and bubbly. The atmosphere is incomparable in this fine establishment.
Every item on the menu is memorable, and reasonably priced for a downtown Nashville eatery. I can’t recommend a place more, you will not be disappointed.
