A great Corner bagel shop. Came across this location well stopped at a red light. Could smell the bagels! Had a couple minutes to grab a sandwich and coffee, not expecting much.
Immediately was greeted pleasantly by the two people behind the counter. Had an 8 Nova Lox sandwich with the usual tomatoes and capers and red onion, on an asiago bagel. Being close to Christmas decided to try their homemade cranberry cream cheese on the sandwich. Awesome!

I’ve passed this place many times as I live in Hyde Park. I’ve always been interested in trying their bagels just because their logo is so attractive
Today, my friend had a fresh bagel from her area in Brockton and it looked so good, so I decided to have a fresh bagel from my area. Cafe Fresh Bagel was obviously my go to. The plain bagel and chives cream cheese did not disappoint. I immediately said to myself that I will never buy a bagel at Dunkin’ Donuts again after trying this. The only negative experience I had was the staff weren’t so welcoming. There were two ladies at the front one serving a customer a bagel and the other one asking the same customer whether she also wanted a coffee. While I was just standing there. I don’t get how two employees should be serving one customer at that same time while a customer is waiting to be served. It wasn’t a big deal, but it definitely was my first experience with them. Otherwise, if you’re looking for an amazing bagel and cream cheese, this is the place to go! I wish I took a picture of my bagel.

Favs me the wrong bagel on my sandwich and charges me $3 extra for the sandwich. In what world is a bacon egg and cheese $10? Cashier fought with me about the price and tried to claim the extra $3 were from the card processing fee. Food is decent. Atmosphere is great. I live across the street, won’t bd coming back.

Cafe Fresh Bagel delivers on all of those fronts. The bagels are superb and the variety, freshness and flavor of the wares on display is unsurpassed. The people who run the establishment are the kind of individuals that serve as the epitome of what entrepreneurs should be – hardworking, dedicated and thoughtful. Honestly, I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else for my bagels…!

Bad service, the space is not organized at all, the woman standing there only making drinks, and taking payments, why not take the payment and take orders as well? Makes no sense, but that’s no big issue. Once my coffee was make she said “ok, that’ll be …” and reached out her hand expecting cash. I asked her if I could do Apple Pay. The lady rolled her eyes and said “ok come here ” hm.. ok.
Drank the coffee. The syrup was all at the bottom. EVERY BIT. And the cup was so hot and they did not provide a sleeve or anything. Nothing to mix the sugar with.

Just a quick rant about this spot I have never written a bad review about a local spot but what a horrible hospitality for someone that deals with people everyday. First off I place a very simple order with the girl there she’s looking mad as hell like I did something to her I get it that it’s Sunday. Then after I pay for my order I ask the lady the plain bagel I ordered comes with cream cheese correct she says yes. 2 mins later they sell my specific bagel to someone else that came literally 5 mins after me and then proceeds to tell me hey we don’t have that bagel anymore do you want something else literally as they sold that bagel right in front of my eyes. I don’t make a big deal about this and say it’s fine just give me a plain bagel. Then as I look my order it’s just a plain bagel in there with no cream cheese nothing she then proceeds to tell me it’s another 2$ for the cream cheese. Again not making a big deal out of it as I’m walking out she starts talking shit in Albanian like????? What a horrible spot. The end

I absolutely loved the fresh bagels at Cafe Fresh Bagel! Plain and cinnamon bagels were so good! They were super flavorable. I loved every bite! I definitely encourage others to come stop by.

The bagels are fluffy. They’re more doughy than a NY bagel and not necessarily bad in a doughy somewhat chewy interior but not much of a crust, but probably would not get the lox spread. It’s 99% cream cheese and 3-4 specks of lox. Not worth going out of your way to stop.

As a former New Yorker, this place is the real deal. They bake the bagels fresh at this location. The crust is great on the bagels, you can buy bagels in bulk, and get breakfast sandwiches with the works. The bacon egg and cheeses have a tremendous amount of egg on them, and the coffee is great!
Very clean establishment. Very kind employees. I come here almost every weekend to grab a bite and I am never disappointed. Try the lox spread or one of the hot breakfast sandwiches, or their assortments of cream cheeses! You can’t go wrong no matter what you pick.
