Social Profile:

Café du Parc is a quintessential French brasserie with outdoor seating offering classic French dishes with a contemporary twist. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch on Sundays. Influenced by the Beaux-Arts architecture of Willard InterContinental and the French-inspired design of Washington, D.C. by Pierre L’Enfant, Café du Parc opened its doors in 1997, looking to bring a slice of France to the Nation’s Capital, once again. Located on Pennsylvania Avenue, across from Pershing Park – home to the World War I Memorial, Café du Parc is reminiscent of Parisian-inspired sidewalk cafés.

Inventive takes on French classics are turned out at this elegant spot with lots of outdoor seating.

Horrendous service. The entree was served as we finished the starter. I then had to ask for the starter plates to be cleared and for new cutlery. I had to ask for the main plates to be cleared after the server had come to offer more drinks. Then I needed to ask for the menu for the dessert. Food was advertised as a whole Branzino but served as 1 fillet with a tail. Starters were good. Dessert was good. Gorgeous spot for a drink with a nice outlook though

My wife and I stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. This is a very nice French cafe that will remind you of an outdoor cafe in France. We had planned to sit outside for breakfast but unfortunately it was raining when we arrived. We sat upstairs and my wife had the Belgian waffles which were excellent and I had the three egg omelette and it was really good. The server was great and made sure our coffee was always topped off. We wanted to have some pastries downstairs on our way out, but we were too full to do that. Looking forward to stopping in the next time we are in the area. Neither of us had a single complaint about this place, it was great.

Cafe du Parc is a pleasant breakfast spot with a menu featuring classic French dishes. I really enjoyed their delicious Cafe Mocha and Eggs Benedict. While the overall experience was enjoyable, it didn’t quite reach the level of being exceptional.

This is a very nice Cafe to catch up with old friends or just grab a cup of delicious coffee and relax. Seating is available inside and outside. They offer a variety of delicious pastry and baguette sandwiches.

We can only speak to the grab and go. The pastries are delicious and high-end. The macaron is worth every penny and calorie! The almond croissant was good, and the spinach feta was great, but could have been warmed.

JP was an outstanding server, he was funny, great recommendations and patient. If I wasn’t fasting I know I would have loved the food. The other 3 people I came with absolutely loved and devoured their meals. Salmon, poached eggs, French toast, all were absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to go back when we are back in town. Such a gem of a spot for breakfast upstairs. Ask for JP!!!!!

The hostess was unwelcoming, and audibly sighed when we asked to join for dinner. We were taken upstairs to a dim-lit dining room that was somewhat confined. To give insight on the lighting – our shadows were cast on the menu. Our server was alright, but made no effort to interact with us beyond taking our order, as he did for other customers. Surprisingly, our bill was handed to us while we were still eating. We ordered the Onion soup and Willard burger. The food was average. We likely wouldn’t go back or recommend this to others.

Cafe du Parc is in the Willard Hotel. First of all, the hotel and restaurant were breath-taking! Everything was beautifully decorated for the holidays! We ordered a Cobb salad, Willard burger, and even a side of ratatouille, which was as delicious as the movie says! Service was excellent and the atmosphere was very relaxing! Sorry, no food pics, but would highly recommend for a spectacular lunch!
