The complimentary bread is wonderful here! Warm, light, soft inside, crispy crust outside. I would come back here just for the bread.They recently started a $25 Tuesday where you get a choice of soup or salad, a choice of entrees, and a dessert for $25 on Tuesdays. We had the cream of mushroom soup and onion soup. Both of which are too salty, so i wouldn’t recommend these soups. For entrees, we had the steak frites (ribeye) and shrimp scampi. The ribeye at medium rare was great. Shrimp scampi overcooked, unfortunately. For dessert, I’d recommend either the caramel flan or chocolate mousse. The Apple crepe was too sweet for me. Overall, the $25 Tuesday is a great deal that we highly recommend.

This has been one of our favorites for years. It can be intimate or festive all at the same time. Excellent food, attentive service and nice ambiance. Starting to show it’s age and unfortunately probably won’t be around long because of the value of the real estate and I have to think it would be hard to sell the business since it is so reflective of the owner’s influence. Enjoy it while you can. Excellent for a romantic dinner or catching up with friends. Never disappoints.

My wife picked this place out as a romantic dinner. And we were not disappointed. We didn’t ask for anything special but got a candle lit dinner. Most of the patrons are elderly but I want to change that. The waitress was really nice. My wife ordered the steak with bernease sauce and I ordered the rack of lamb. The steak was melt in your mouth as rare. I ordered the lamb as med. Rare and they were both great. Next time I go I will order the lamb rare, personal preff. Give the place a try. We g9t a bottle of wine and 2 entries for about 125 before tip. So worth it.

If you love nursing home food, this place will not disappoint! I ordered a rare steak, and it came well done and rubbery. In addition, the vegetables on the side were soft, soggy, and flavorless. The creamed spinach was the the peak of dinner for sure. It had a film on top that made it seem like my plate was microwaved, and the plate was hot enough to burn me when it arrived. For a 4.4 star average restaurant, my mother and I were extremely disappointed. The decor was also reminiscent of a church basement and the bread was not good. My mother called it one of her “worst dining experiences ever”.

This restaurant provides a nice atmosphere with good service and outstanding food. Everything is flavorful and freshly prepared. Entrees are served with potatoes au gratin, haricot vert, sauteed carrot sticks, and creamed spinach. Their soup, bisque, and salad are simply wonderful. To top it off, the price is reasonable.

The service was a bit slow and the decor left something to be desired but the food was absolutely amazing. The scallops were huge and perfectly cooked and for the price you get 5 or 6 nice sized morsels instead of over cooked tiny things like some other places. I recommend the shrimp appetizer, it was cooked in wine and tomatoes and had excellent flavor. The salmon was a true filet. Not a steak. It was at least 2 inches thick and looked like it was just skinned. Definitely not a pre frozen, thin little thing. All in all worth it.

I have only eaten dinner there once and it was so delicious! I plan on trying lunch soon! The presentation of the food was fantastic as well. I was pleased with the vegetables as well. I love the atmosphere as well as the decor.

Relaxed meal, watched ferry traffic come and go. Food was good, nice presentation. Pleasant staff. (Update: the chef/owner retired and this place is now closed. A carribean place is planned for this location.)
