The food is delicious, every single plate was treated with the most care and patience. The wine is really good and the desserts are a delicacy, just come early, because they run out quickly!!!
If you are in Saint Louis or Basel, it’s a definitely most!!
The service is very kind and friendly, they speak many languages, so with french, spanish or English you will be able to communicate properly. The menu is also available on English.
And to top all that was said, the prices are incredibly accessible.
Rush hours are a little bussy, but the service is still quick and friendly.
So, either for a full meal, an appetizer, a desser or just a coffe and wine, this is the place to go!

Awesome place in Saint Louis. Out of 4 nights, my gf and I spent 3. Tried different meals each night and everything was over expectations. Pizza, mussels, salmon, cordon bleu, burgers. Welcoming and friendly staff, vinrage atmosphere and very good music. Very highly recommended!

Following a recommendation from the Hotel Berlioz I chose Cafe de la Poste to celebrate the end of a long cycle ride (From Rotterdam to Basel).
I arrived with an appetite and a mood for self congratulation.
I couldn’t have chosen better.
After scarfing down a delicious charcuterie starter, I followed up with the comfort of a well made hachis parmentier. How they managed to pair this with the thunderstorm that fell upon the town I’m not sure. The warm glow of the interior with its busy service matched with sweeping rain and electric drama outside.
I finished up with an tarte aux pommes and coffee.
Excellent food washed down with good beer(s). Great service.
As the storm faded towards the east I wobbled back to my hotel happy as a clam.
