Five all around . One of my favorites . Little diamond ️ in the busy city of florence AL . Love going here have person eaten the entire menu. Staff is well versed in Spanish and English. Love to acomadate their customers . Have many good choice . Today I had the degio special. With pancake and strawberry crepes . One of my wife’s favorite meals . Definitely an all time favorite. I come here for the atmosphere of the authentic Mexican food style . As well as the hand made art. All around a five star bristo .

Great place I asked for the most popular burrito, Aztecs sopas (don’t quote me on the spelling) and iced cafe latte. It was fast, tasted great and fairly priced. The restaurant was very clean and the service was great. I went in the morning and people were in and out picking up to go orders, usually a good sign. Definitely recommend.

Went in a breakfast date this morning! We got the Pan Dulce seasonal drink. I got the Diego special (omelette, rice and one pancake with banana slices) and swapped the black beans for rice and he got the strawberry and banana crepes with pecans. Very tasty.

This place has great options for breakfast. Very traditional Mexican breakfast. The smoothie bowl is amazing. The coffee isn’t too sweet. It was perfect.

This was my third time here. I’ve ordered the same thing all 3 times. The chilaquiles burrito. It’s been very good all 3 times, BUT… the first time I asked about it being grilled and was told it was grilled as apart of the recipe, the second time I didn’t ask and it wasn’t grilled, so the 3rd time I politely brought it up and the person at the counter’s attitude changed immediately. They got a tone with me defending the establishment. I wasn’t criticizing – I only wanted the food I was paying for grilled. Then, she charged me extra for the grilling. The previous 2 times it was $16 and change. This time over $17. Her tone and attitude was even more apparent when man order was ready. I’ll probably not be back even though the food is good. The tone and attitude for asking a simple question was a bit much.

I love having coffee and breakfast at Cafe de Frida. Lots of thought went into the decor so expect a few surprises as you move through the cafe. The menu has some nice surprises as well. It is not your everyday breakfast menu. Lots of variety, prepared lovingly and presented spectacularly. Note these are not gut busting overfilled plates but I’ve never left hungry. The staff is kind, attentive and friendly. Cleo runs a tight ship so everyone and everything is pristine. Be careful as you navigate the doorways and crossing the street from the parking lot.

What a lovely place! I’m so glad I finally visited Cafe de Frida! The bright blue building is intriguing itself.
I was pleasantly surprised that they had a larger variety of food on their menu than I had previously found online.
I had thought it was mostly breakfast items, but there’s so much more.
I had my first Matcha Latte with honey and cinnamon, and it was delicious!
I also had the chicken flautas. It was topped with the freshest avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. It was served with the best salsa Verde. So good!
The prices are reasonable.
The workers were friendly and the service was fast! I love Frida Kahlo, and the decor was all things Frida! The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is beautiful and captivating!
I’ll definitely be back. There are lots of things I’d love to try on the menu. Especially the Tamales! There’s also some yummy looking pastries available.
It may just be my new favorite spot!

Got to try this new place out during 7 Points Restaurant Week and I really enjoyed it! The portion sizes for their food is great, and the coffees are delicious. We had the Frida Sandwich and someone else at the table had the sandwich ranchero. Everyone enjoyed it! The Salsa was refreshing and great to dip the sandwich in. We will be back!

Added: adding on to my post from when they originally opened. They added more items to the menu and still as delicious!

Old post:
I think I might be a regular. I enjoyed the Diego special (omelette and pancakes) and so far had the iced Dolce de Leche and Iced Mazapan. They are both delicious. Can’t wait to try more here.

Pictures: Iced Mazapan and my just a cup of whole milk (for my 3 yr old) And a Menu of the coffee drinks.
