Ate here 2 times on very different days.

Food: delicious. Cannot mess up breakfast or else don’t return. This place was great!

Service: order food at counter and find a table, if lucky. It is super busy for brunch on the weekend, but weekday early? Perfection. Some waiters are nice, some not so nice.

Atmosphere: the place is cute and the deco fits the vibe BUT very tight squeeze.

Our daughter gave us a gift card for Cafe Dantorels. We were downtown and decide to stop in. You may order from the counter. The staff were so friendly and bubbly. We decided on 2 Turkey Burger’s with fries. At which time they hand you a number. The ambience is so inviting. There’s an outdoor patio where you may be seated. Our orders were served pipping hot with lot of flavor, oh my goodness so fresh. Mmm good.
We will return
The only downside for me was that they don’t serve domestic beer like Budweiser or Bud Light.

Horrible food. I’m not sure who was cooking on Valentine’s Day . They wanted to be home. I got a kids chicken Alfredo there was no Alfredo sauce. I also got a chicken Alfredo for me it was overly filled with olives. My friends ordered burgers medium rare. This is what was given. Place either needs an inspection or a new cook.

4.5/5 for this classic downtown restaurant. The food was great, portions were large and tasted well. There is good st parking around the area. The ambiance is quiet and there’s outdoor seating with fireplace as well.
A bit pricey overall so one less star. Otherwise its a good sit down restaurant in downtown.

God damn this place is good. Definitely. A bit on the expensive side but in my opinion it is 100% worth it. Got the karma sandwich and it was really really good. Great size sandwich with a massive side of fries. Also got a mocha with hazelnut flavor. Again. Incredible. The only issue I had is the price here. For two people both getting coffees. One getting the steak and eggs and other The karma sandwich. Came out to $77. So pricey but so SO worth it.

My review erased itself so i will keep it brief
Over priced for lack of quality, presentation, and taste.
$45 for a dessert crepe and scrambled eggs
Crepes were repulsive looking and unappetizing
Eggs were decent enough.
Coffee was good at least.
Sacramento standards are very sad..

I had the Banana bread French toast it is a rich and decadent breakfast dish that combines the comforting flavors of classic banana bread with the preparation of traditional French toast. The Mocha was decent.

This place used to be formerly Crepeville. But since Crepeville closed down in 2012, it’s been very hard to find a good crepe place. I know there’s a Crepeville in downtown Sacramento but they don’t serve the portion size of food as how they did back then. But surprisingly Cafe Dantorels took over the Curtis Park property and is serving pretty much the same stuff. It’s a little bit more expensive but they give you a good portion of food. I’m glad to have come back to this place and enjoy some good food. The parking is very limited as always but hey you can’t beat Great Vibes and Great Staff. Highly recommend this place.

Service was pretty mediocre. I had been very excited to try this place for a while and finally made the time to swing by but honestly wishing I had just gone somewhere else. Felt like I was inconveniencing or annoying the staff when I came up to order. One drink and pasta was about $50 with tip—a bit steep for the quality. Would maybe consider giving this place a second chance but not a huge fan of the service upon first visit unfortunately.

Hate to give a negative review. Love the atmosphere, but the food was cold and really didn’t have much flavor. Eggs Benedict classic… but I make at home regularly and mine in better. Outrageous price for latte. Two people, bill was 84$, expect much better for that price. Loved the potatoes! Will try elsewhere next week. Music was too loud to talk to my husband.
