Well finally took the plunge and came here. The atmosphere is amazing the setting is great the place makes you feel fancy and special.
Came here to celebrate anniversary and they did not disappoint except with the amount of time it took for the food to arrive.
We ordered before two tables next to us, mind you those tables also had two people yet they took twice as long. If I hadn’t pressed on the server about our food I think we would have kept waiting. About an hour later we had our main dish.

The food was delicious and the steak tasted amazing! Ill be trying the wagu steak next time.

The drinks were on point

The prices are very reasonable for the ambiance, service and delicious food. Will certainly make this one of my go to restaurants.

Highly recommend

Cafe Central in El Paso is a very nice place with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. The service is very good, especially compared to other restaurants in the area, which makes the experience even better. It’s a perfect spot for a quick breakfast, to relax, and to have a good conversation without feeling rushed. Everything feels simple, comfortable, and well done. Overall, it’s a solid choice and a place I would definitely recommend.

First time dining here, and it was okay overall. The atmosphere and the staff made my rating from 3 stars to 4. The food landed in the middle for me. Aesthetically, all the dishes were beautifully plated. They missed the mark with my scallops entrée, more than half of the scallops were undercooked sadly. The bread didn’t impress me too much either (lavender and garlic) My friend’s side dish (mashed potatoes) was completely cold. This is what I did like: The grilled octopus and the cheesecake were INCREDIBLE. The crab cakes were good, too. As stated previously, the staff was kind and attentive, so that’s always a plus for me. The restaurant was beautiful and clean. I might go back in the future to give it another chance.

It was a solid performance. We were a party of 6. Server was very attentive. Food was good. We had the prawn brouchette and the prime rib. We also got the chili soup lol. Honestly the chili soup was good but it just taste like the sauce from enchilada suizas. Which is fine by me since I love enchiladas. We also had thw stuffed portobello mushrooms as an appetizer. They were good but a bit heavy on the Balsamic reduction.

Only complaint really was the potatos were super creamy but bland.

4 star is a good review. We will be back. Love the service.

I was walking down the street to have dinner and saw a few people walking out of the Resturant so I thought I would give it try. I sat at the bar, the bartenders was very nice and recommend a few dishes. I preferred Herbert’s which was the bacon wrapped prawns with some orzo and vegetables. The shrimp was very over cooked (had an hard time cutting it), the bacon in some spots raw. The orzo was great and so was the vegetables also but I wouldn’t recommend due to the shrimp suppose to be the star of the dish and it was a disappointment. Maybe there other dishes are better.

Truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. My husband and I are visiting from Dallas and had the most wonderful meal here…the Prawn brochette was perfect and the Puntes de Filette with the ribeye was one of the most delicious things we’ve ever tasted. Our server Nick was so friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Very comprehensive wine list. The atmosphere, including a lovely singer/piano duo, was great with just the right mix of fancy and lively. Highly recommend Cafe Central for a nice night out in El Paso!

The wine selection is phenomenal!!!! The food options/ choices have something for everyone. The ribeye steak was amazingly tasty and served perfectly Hot!!! The smoked green chili soup was outta this world. This is definitely a new favorite spot and I definitely look forward to exploring the food options on my next visit. This place was so so good. Their corn bread and raisin bread for starters was what I could keep eating but I had to save my appetite for their seafood enchiladas which I really loved. And my boyfriend loved his steak. Over all, I love the ambiance, food, and service. I wish the wait time was a little shorter.

Took my wife last night for Valentines Day! Valentines Day package was $270… to start! I had soup, salad, Chilean sea bass, and mango colada desert with water and tea. My wife had soup, salad, prime rib (for which they added $15 extra) and a tiny and I mean tiny creme brulee also with water and tea. All said and done it totaled out to $365.xx! If I were to break down all items we ordered separately it would’ve been $200 at best. @ $165.00 extra for prime rib and tip and red lighting ambiance? I can’t help but feel that ive been had. But… as they say ” fool me once…”
