A fantastic last stop at Cafe Caribe! The Frozen Espresso Martini Hard Seltzer from Lift Bridge Brewing Co. was the perfect blend of coffee and seltzer. The slushy texture and chocolate-covered bean made for a refreshing treat we enjoyed while listening to the live music late at night. Highly recommend!

The Cafe Caribe is one of my favorite stops at the Minnesota State Fair. The food isn’t the greatest, but the beer on tap is good and cold and they now have a booth with a decent selection of craft beers. I like most of the bands they book, but dropped a star because of the poor sound system. This year they were pushing the speakers too hard and the sound was muddy. Why book great bands and then make them sound bad?

I would give a 6 star rating if possible. Food / environment is great. What takes this place to the next level is the crew. We had great service while at the fair. Then my son left his phone and thankfully someone turned it in. The team not only reached out and notified they had the phone, but then they helped ship it to us. We will always remember what Adam and others at the Cafe Caribe team have done for us. Looking forward to drinking more beers and toasting the crew next time we’re in town!

Very long lines but understandable due to popularity and proximity to the midway. I love the key lime pie beer and make it a point to go there every time! Live band and plenty of room for seating and dancing. Lots of non-alcoholic options for kids and adults.

Be careful if you have allergies. My husband can eat lobster and crab but is very allergic to fish. I took one bite of the loaded lobster fries and could tell it was fake lobster (which is made from fish) so we asked. They confirmed it’s half real and half fake. That’s a dangerous thing for people with allergies. We didn’t see any allergy warnings anywhere.

Ok. Love this place, come here every year. However the lobster roll…is delicious but…I feel like maybe there’s no lobster in it? No chunks for sure, and it tastes like crab salad….please clear this up for me.
