It has been a while since I had the pleasure of dining in at Cafe’ Caupano! The people are so friendly and the atmosphere is perfect! The food is incredible… we started out with one of the best Caesar salads I have had in a long time the dressing was perfection! The olive oil with seasoning over the house cooked bread was delicious! Penne vodka heavenly and the pizza was perfect exactly how we asked for it!

I have heard that everything on their menu is excellent, but I go here for their Penne Vodka. It is my gold standard. And if you like fresh baked bread for dipping, it will definitely have you coming back for more. Their family opened another restaurant in Pennington, Francesco’s, with an equally appealing menu. Easily my favorite Italian restaurant.

Fantastic food, even if the ambiance of a strip mall pizza counter was a bit off-putting. Had littlenecks in a white wine sauce and the eggplant parmesan. Both dishes were incredible, and wish I would’ve said yes to bread so I could’ve sopped up every last bit of clam sauce.

If it’s a hidden jewel in the town, I’d like to say it’s silver. Family friendly eating atmosphere. Waiter waived our dessert fee, he thought we’ve been waiting too long. Actually we really enjoyed the food and time there. Fresh made Garlic bread was great. Definitely will come back.

When me, my wife and father in law dined there it was a quiet night. Just us and another couple that came in shortly after us. It is important to understand we both had the same server. The other couple sat close enough to us so we could hear the conversation between them and the server. When they ordered their meals the server gave them a choice of soup or salad. When we ordered we were not given the choice. At the end of the meals the server came and scooped up our plates. Plenty of food still remained. When he went to the other couple he asked them if they wanted to take the leftovers home. What?!?!. Why were we treated so differently? We will not be dining there anymore!!
