With love from a nice family setting is always the best. Great staff and highly accommodating! If you find yourself in the Lindale mall and would like some southern hospitality by way of Iowa. I would highly recommend that you stop by and give it a try. Saturdays might be one of the prime days, but any day would work !

The food here was good. I had the Monday special (catfish, red beans & rice, cornbread, and a beignet). The fish was fried to perfection and the cornbread was sweet, but not overly sweet. It was a great balance of things. I got really full without actually being able to finish my meal.

Stopped by for the first time on a whim, and wow, I’m impressed! I had the hurricane burger, fries, soda, and beignets. The burger was DELICIOUS, especially with the hurricane sauce! The fries were seasoned well and tasted really great with a nice bit of crunch. The star, of course, was the dessert. The beignets were perfectly done and truly phenomenal. This was my first visit but definitely won’t be my last!

The food is outstanding! So much flavor! I had the fish and red beans and rice. The fish was incredible! Never had fish like that before! Just the right amount of heat. Red beans and rice and cornbread were amazing. Super tasty and delicious! Got the beignets to try for the first time, wow! Yum! The King Cake coffee was fantastic as were the dessert balls. Really enjoyed the food and the owners were very kind ❤️❤️

Simply outstanding. Courteous and prompt service, almost no wait time, and the food is the star. Red Beans & Rice, Catfish, cornbread, and a beignet. Great seasoning and right heat for the beans and rice, breading on the fish was flavorful and perfectly fried, and moist cornbread!!! And of course, a fresh beignet…love the almond flavor!! Highly recommend!!!!

Ordered the fried chicken special and added Mac and cheese and fried cabbage. Delish! Also had the banana pudding and, of course, some glazed beignets! Amazing! Customer service is outstanding, as well! Above and beyond, for sure.

Not so good customer service. Waited way longer than I was told due to miscommunication between staff and was handed my food without a ‘thank you’, ‘have a nice day’, or even ‘sorry for the wait’. Food was extremely dry as well.
I also want to mention that I was the only customer there. If they were swamped and busy, I would have grace. But they weren’t, so I do not.
