My husband and I stayed a night at the Pfister for a little staycation and wanted to soak in the full experience, including breakfast at the hotel’s café. We headed down around 9:30am on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t busy at all. We were seated right away. There’s also a convenient grab-and-go section if you’re just looking for a pastry and coffee.
The dining area feels a bit dated, but it’s clean and charming in a way that fits the historic vibe of the hotel.
I really liked one of the special drinks, the Oatmeal Cookie Chai, it tasted like a liquidified cookie! I went with the Colossal Breakfast Sandwich to eat, my husband got the farmhouse omelet and we both got a side of hashbrowns. Each plate came with a little cup of ketchup, which I feel like is not something a lot of people enjoy with their breakfast but they must’ve had enough requests to make it standard, I don’t think either of us touched it.
As for the food, it was just okay. My sandwich didn’t really stand out–the bagel and bacon were a bit too crispy for my liking–and the hashbrowns were underwhelming. Given the price and the Pfister’s reputation, I was expecting something a bit more impressive. Maybe my expectations were just a little too high for a luxury hotel.
That said, the service was excellent! Our server, Sam, was warm, friendly, and brought such a positive energy that it really helped start the day off on a good note.

The Café serves thee most elite salmon eggs Benedict ive ever tasted. Lite, elegant, perfectly poached egg over a bed of arugula on an English muffin capers and hollandaise sauce. I love them like few things. I love on this earth and return back here to get another taste time after time. Their mimosas are top notch but the other sides were meh. The hash browns were half hard and raw the bacon was over done. The pancakes were another highlight light and fluffy and really good actually. Otherwise this is a perfect brunch spot. They satisfied my post workout to a tee.

I dine here with my chicken for breakfast regularly and it is a tradition for all holidays. The food is consistently delicious. This morning we had breakfast for Christmas Eve and our waiter Orlando was ONE OF THE BEST we had in years. Orlando was personable and very attentive . Special thank you to the chefs working this morning. The food was the best we have ever had. I Highly recommend for breakfast and lunch. We had an amazing experience for our Christmas Eve breakfast. As a General manager of a restaurant myself I would be proud of my staff to have delivered such a great experience.

Excellent in-hotel dining for guests and travelers alike. As an Airline pilot on PM schedule, I can get an excellent 9hrs sleep in after a late (early) arrival and still get breakfast served after 1:30p. Staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. Compliments this fabulous hotel perfectly. Highly recommend the Pfister Café !! ☕️

This place is definitely overhyped, there’s nothing outstanding or remarkable about it, besides that it’s at the pfister hotel. I was expecting much better but it wasn’t bad. I got the Colossal Breakfast Sandwich. It was good, too much egg for a sandwich in my opinion, but i enjoyed it. The hash browns were not good, I had to use a lot of ketchup to mask the grill flavor they had. My mom go the Banana Foster French Toast, she didn’t like the bitter taste of the sauce, which was probably the rum.
Coffee and banana and strawberry smoothie were good! They use real fruit, unlike other places. Prices are reasonable and the service was excellent! Sheena is an awesome server!

The Cafe at the Pfister has always been a lovely place for lunch, but a recent experience with one menu item left me very disappointed. The fish in my perch sandwich was seriously overcooked, and when I sent it back, the second fish was no better. The breading on both was dark brown, thick, and hard. A diner at an adjacent table commented that he had had the same experience with a first, then a second overcooked fish. Caveat emptor.

A friend recommended we try the food. We had a million other breakfast/brunch places on our radar but I’m so glad we listened to the friend.
The food was DELICIOUS!! The pancakes were fluffy with a buttery crunch to the edges. The potatoes were probably some of the best breakfast potatoes I’ve ever had… a nice blend of soft and crunchy and full of flavor.
Our waitress was delightful, and she even offered us a coffee to go, which was greatly appreciated.
The hotel is breathtaking upon walking in. I see why my friend recommended it.

Super disappointing. Hash browns old and cold to Luke warm. Asked for brunch when making reservations was led to believe would be nice hotel brunch ‘, instead hotel cafe offering breakfast menu or lunch menu. Breakfast menu lacked luster! Eggs also over done and service was mediocre. $92 before gratuity for 3 Benedict’s, biscuits and gravy and one mimosa.

The waffle was very good as were the dishes my companions got. I think the prices are relatively fair — the sides are the thing I would consider to be a bit overpriced. However you shouldn’t need a side to enjoy the meal decently.
The atmosphere is traditional and comfortable. The chairs are very comfortable.
Service was attentive.

Enjoyed a sublime breakfast with my good friend. Everything we had was wonderful and it was so beautifully plated. They also had freshly squeezed juice available. We got reservations for a Saturday morning but it wasn’t necessary. Will definitely be going back in the future!
