This was one of the best breakfast experiences at a hotel we’ve ever had! Apachee/JoNathan gave us the best customer service experience each morning! He makes some very creative old fashioned sodas! I 100% recommend the spinach quiche and getting a mimosa with any of their drink options!

Cute little hotel lobby coffee shop with a small breakfast menu. There is nice seating, but aware that it is not a sit-down restaurant with wait staff. Iced and hot water is self serve with cups by it.
Coffee was good and hot. French toast was great. Frozen fruit topping was offered with the French toast–fresh would be s nice step up.
Cinnamon roll was great.
Alexa was friendly and prompt.

We enjoyed a quick breakfast at Cafe & A’more on our way out of town. The service was friendly and prompt. The americano was well made and not too much water! We ate the quiche and the “pig in a puff”; both came out fresh and piping hot. They were able to make the pig in a puff without cheese to accommodate my spouse’s allergies. They were reasonably priced, especially for a tourist town in the off season! As an added bonus, we got to eat in the hotel’s charming 19th century dining room. We will definitely visit Cafe & A’more again when we are in Lava.

This is my favorite place to come and sit for coffee in Lava. The vibe takes you way back! I really like the chai apple spiced cider latte with caramel.

The staff was great! This is a little cafe inside the Riverside Inn. The breakfast sandwich was delicious . The cinnamon roll was a hit. Three main dishes are homemade, the sides are basic and come from Costco. We used a room voucher and it came with plenty of food They did have a good variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, milk, juices, and english muffins for sides. The cinnamon rolls are huge and have plenty of gooey icing. We had a large party which led to a little wait, but that’s what we expected. We can’t wait to come back next year.

Stopped in to swim in the hot tub, and this was the closest coffee joint so I tried it, it’s very hard to find this place, it’s inside of this front door, then up the stairs
they had me write my order down on this little piece of paper ,
I paid eight dollars for two coffees, witch is obviously cheep
Coffee, was 5 minutes to make
Ok lobby vibes, but staff is slow and hard to communicate with, but we’re friendly when bringing me my drinks
I won’t be back unless everyone else in town is closed

They have alternative milks for those who do not do dairy. They have an outdoor patio area for those of us that need a dog friendly cafe. I ordered a chai, and it is very good, doesn’t taste like it came from a box. There is free wifi, for those of us that need to work. And the hotel it sits in is also on the National registry for historic places. AND there are both tables and lounge couches , also plug ins! Overall pretty awesome place.

Very mid and dusty. A place you go to and forget about. Employees were nice. Service definitely slower than in a bigger city. Only complaint with food was the chocolate croissant, it was likely old and microwaved for wayyyy too long so it was hard and chewy. As for chocolate, it’s just Hershey syrup on top. Quiche was good. Crepe had frozen berries.
