Cafe 1217 is a cozy little café serving soups, salads, and light lunch options. When you walk in to order at the counter, you’re greeted by a tempting display case filled with baked goods. The setup is casual and easy. Order at the counter, grab a glass and help yourself to drinks, and when your food is ready, they’ll call your name for pickup.

I ordered the pot pie, which comes with a side salad, and couldn’t resist adding a slice of Italian cream cake. The cake was the standout. It was loaded with texture, plenty of nuts, and topped with a light, creamy icing that really hit the spot.

Overall, a pleasant lunch stop with some strong dessert game.

Food & staff are on point. Helpful & tasty! Turtle brownie was great! They have many baked goods to choose. i got their version of the Monte Cristo and it was good (always ♥️ when raspberry jam is included). Wife got four different salads and like then all (especially impressed with the cauliflower one).
Cafe is a bit higher priced but was worth it. Would come back, so yes, recommend.

What a happy discovery. When enjoying Hot Springs on February 25th we decided to try this establishment because the menu offered variety of light sounding dishes. The staff greeted us warmly and we found a table. It took a while to from the menu because there were so many good choices.
I chose the Grilled Chicken Fajita Salad Bowl and I couldn’t believe the explosion of flavor in my mouth. This was truly something I could not stop eating and finished the whole bowl.
My sister in law ordered the Veggie Enchilada Casserole and enjoyed the same experience.
I strongly recommend this sweet restaurant when you are in Hot Springs. We will definitely be coming back to try more of their dishes.

Visited a few years ago and was super excited to come back. The front staff were very nice but I saw the kitchen staff get flustered at one of them when after 25 minutes I asked how much longer it’d be for my apple and Gouda sandwich. Had my pup waiting in my car so was trying to gauge if I needed to turn AC on for a bit. Anyways, this is what I ended up paying $20 for… cheese wasn’t even melted. My guess is they’re short staffed in the back. Bummer.

Wonderful cafe. I had salad and gouda apple grilled cheese. They have a great variety and everyone was happy. They also have prepared foods and sides you can get to go.

Amazing! We had the southwestern Cobb salad, bacon ranch chicken salad sandwich with chips, kids cheese quesadilla, and kids PB with apples and honey sandwich. Everything was delicious! Definitely going to be a regular stop for us. The ginger juice and minted lemonade were superb as well! Service was great and fast. Bathrooms clean. All around good spot.

The food was excellent and came out in a timely manner. Lunch with a friend looming for healthy delicious options. I had the salad with salmon and pears and nuts. My friend had the Reuben. We were both so pleased and glad to have found this place that wasn’t a chain restaurant. We will return.

Service was questionable. Cashier was plain rude. The waitress was sweet.
Food was good. Grilled chicken caesar salad and grilled chicken mango salad were good. Chocolate cheesecake was great. Lemon bar was mid.

The lovely one and I stopped here on a recommendation of a friend. The food was delicious, in decent proportions, and the staff was delightful.
I had the muffaletta. While it was slightly on the smaller side, with the orzo salad it was pleasantly filling. The sweet potato fries added a nice compliment.
The lovely one had the California club. It was good if slightly challenging to consume as presented.
The sweet tea was on par with most, while the minted lemonade was like a refreshing hint of summer.
We finished our meal by sharing a slice of key lime pie. Rich, thick, and absolutely the best taste to finish off our meal.
We plan to return to try other items from the menu when we visit Hot Springs again.
An added plus was the employees. They were all welcoming, willing to answer questions, and went above and beyond to make sure orders were satisfactory.

We were in town for a work conference and decided to grab lunch here. The atmosphere was great and calm, and everyone was polite and courteous. The food was fresh and delicious! I cannot wait to go back.

They had a wonderful selection of desserts but of course I had to try the red velvet cake and it did not disappoint!
