‘Cool-kids’ bar in Napa (obviously 21 to 30ish bar). Moderate loud (but great) music, dark inside, and a great happy hour. Good wine selection, not a lot of draft selection or food. Indoor and outdoor area. Can most certainly recommend especially since it was one of very few places in Napa where I had a $4 drink (during happy hour). This is a great place to come with your partner and share a drink and booth, although the patio might work for larger friend-groups. Definitely not a place for families or kids. Can recommend.

Easily the coolest wine bar in downtown Napa… if you’re wondering where all the cool kids are… they’re here drinking a really diverse and very thoughtfully put-together international wine list. All while listening to some groovy 80s new wave music bumping in the background.
A very simple but delicious offering of small plates that pair beautifully with their wines makes this a great place to stop before or after dinner. High recommend.

I popped two Cadet for a pre-dinner drink, it was quite early but their happy hour is 5-6pm so the wine was half price. I opted for a Sauvignon Blanc and it was very good.

Cadet is a gem in downtown Napa. Great vibes, great staff, and an unbelievable power hour. $4 for a draft beer in CA is unheard of. The staff were very attentive and personable. I would highly recommend stopping in if you’re a local or just passing through. Not sure what’s up with old negative reviews, but they do not reflect Cadet currently.

Great music, great drinks and great vibes. We had the champagne flight and wine flight. Servers were very knowledgeable and adjusted our flights to suit our preferences. A nice retreat from the other tasting rooms in Napa.

We were walking around in downtown and I had heard about this place. The group was willing to try it. We were looking for a place with a great beer and wine list and they had it.
Atmosphere was also very important to us. And Cadet has it. They were playing chill music and the place was happening. We sat outside and the staff periodically came to checkin on us.
Great people, atmosphere and drinks. You can’t go wrong with this place.

We decided to host a welcome party for our wedding weekend at Cadet. We inquired about hosting a private party with Leah a few months prior, and the entire time leading up to the event day, she was extremely communicative, helpful, and friendly. She provided recommendations on how to structure food/drinks for a large group, as well as provided frequent updates.
The day of the event, Leah and her team were set up for us before anybody arrived, which made it super easy for my wife and I to relax and enjoy our time with our friends and family without any stress. The service from Leah and her team was excellent, and the vibe of the wine bar was just so perfect for our group. Also, the small bites / canapes that were served were all delicious.
Overall, we had a great time at Cadet, and would highly recommend stopping in for a glass of wine or hosting a private party here.

The tasting flights were fantastic. The bartenders were enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Cool vibes and open late even after a lot of other places were closed.
