A good breakfast place for a small town like Terre Haute. We loved the food. The portion size of the skillet is quite generous for the price. It’s great that they open early, coz we could leisurely spend some time before rushing to work. Impressive variety of breakfast too

Great food here. The waitress was very pleasant & efficient. I’m going to see if I can order off of the Kids’ Menu next time. I got the short stack(3) of pancakes with 3 slices of bacon.
My 5-yr. old granddaughter got the 6 Silver Dollar pancakes & 2 slices of bacon. Look at those things! They’re huge. She ended up getting more pancake than I did, at a cheaper price.
If you’re kids are really hungry, this is the place to bring them!

Fast and friendly service and good food in a typical diner. Fried biscuits, sausage, and fried mush were all very good. Olympic skillet with pancakes was a hearty and delicious great value! Pecan waffle, with pecans ironed in, was wonderful. Good coffee, clean venue.

My family and I had lunch at Cackleberries for the first time this week. We were impressed by the variety of the menu, the cozy atmosphere, and the friendly staff. We ordered tuna croissant, chicken croissant, and meatloaf. All dishes were great 5 out of 5 except the meatloaf which received a 4 out of 5 from my husband. He said it was a little spicy. There was plenty of parking at the busiest time. I don’t find croissant in other restaurants so it was a nice surprise

Update:
Oh what a difference a few (5) months make. The last 2 visits the food has been cold. Today mine tasted old and inedible. Service was slow and so was the restaurant.

Hot, fresh and delicious!
Service was a little slow, but nothing to complain about as it was still busy.
Country fried steak and eggs with fried potatoes and wheat toast was a little bland but easily remedied with with salt and pepper.
The Olympic skillet was perfect with over medium eggs and sourdough toast. The sourdough compliments all elements; over medium eggs, potatoes, gyro meat, green olives and tzatziki perfectly. Order an extra tzatziki sauce. You won’t be sorry. It tastes like it’s made in house.
Coffee? Perfect. Not bitter, not weak.

A nice little breakfast restaurant. We came in with a group of 8 and was able to be seated right away. Coffee was good. I ordered their golden French toast and tried their strawberry crepe. All tasted delicious. I’d recommend stopping by for breakfast for anyone looking for a quick early bite.

Very good food and large portions. The staff are all very friendly. I have enjoyed all the experiences I’ve had eating here, it always makes me wish they were open in the evening. The prices are good for the quality as well.

The absolute GOAT of Terre Haute eateries. A huge menu of all-day breakfast, lunch, and dinner with classics as well as gyros and Mediterranean fare. Delicious and a huge amount of food every time! Even the staff is top notch. 5 stars across the board, may even buy one of those t-shirts. ❤️

A pretty nice but otherwise basic diner in Downtown Terre Haute.
The food was pretty good and the service was super friendly. I got the French toast and overall, it was decent, not on my top favorites but still good!
Overall, if you like diners, I think you’ll like this place.
