Wonderful place!
We had passed this place in the morning and it was full of people, so we had to come back later for dinner!
There is a small shop downstairs and a bigger sitting area on the second floor. We were there before closing and off-season, but maybe it’s better to book a table beforehand.
About the food:
We had Vitello Tonnato, Pasta with pesto and another pasta with meat ragu. Everything was really good! Very nicely seasoned, pasta was homemade and chewy.
The basil lemon drink was a bit too strong for my liking, but it still tasted really fresh and good:)

Amazing! Exceptional pasta! I tried 3 types of pasta here and they all left me speechless. In these photos are the pesto ones.

Quaint hole in the wall, I walked right past but my wife spotted a giant Farinata…. The line in was all locals waiting to take home fresh breads, pastas, fresh sauces, 2 different ready to eat Lasagna and a special of the day.
Needless to say after 3 giant slices of the most amazing rest made Facocia bread, we sat down for a late lunch. I mean the creamy walnut sauce was incredible and the second dish was a pesto sauce like nothing I have had…Then had to get take-away 2 lasagna’s for the next day!
The owner is the Chef and everything is home made. Staff were fantastic! What a luck stumbling upon this place.

I asked an hour in advance if we can just come in an hour again and the waitress reserved us a table! Incredibly friendly (young lady with not so short brown hair).
We would recommend getting there from 5-5:30. After that, it was full and we saw people struggle/wait for seating.
Now, regarding the food, the pasta was amazing. I am someone who always said I do not like italian food & I will definitely be missing this pesto genovese in Germany. Both dishes were incredibly good. The other dish is cacio & pepe pasta, I almost regretted not getting it. Contrary to the review below, it is my opinion that the dish is impeccable.
In total we paid 44€ for: 2 courses, 2 drinks, 1 water, 1 cake, and one espresso.

Casio and Pepe Genova is a must go for any tourist looking for Italian food. It’s not a fancy restaurant and not a lot of seating. We did not have a reservation but still got a table outside. Capresse salad was good and basic.
Excellent creme Brule, also Tiramasu cake was also well prepared. This eatery gets high marks for offering high-quality food for a reasonable price. Excellent value. In the summary rating, I consider food quality, presentation, service, atmosphere, and overall value for money.

What a amazing place with great authentical and cozy vibes !! We get signature dish – Cacio & Pepe and thats was absolute bomb !!! Staff was super friendly and warmheart people. Deffinetely must try this one if you are around and looking for something unforgettable !!! Thanks for places like this
