The food was mouthwatering! I also ordered two mocktails! I will be back! Thank you Hunter for your sercive!
I was in town for a funeral. After the funeral my son wanted dessert so we were wondering the streets of downtown looking for a quality place with acceptable food. This place really hit the mark on so many levels.
I’m mainly a vegetarian, but I will eat meat 2-3 times a month. I decided I wanted a steak and ordered the filet. I was warned my well done steak would take 30 mins. I agreed thinking she didn’t know what she was talking about because it never takes 30 mins at home to make a well done steak.
This is the longest time I have ever waited on a steak. And I hate meat! This was the best steak I ever had in my entire life. I don’t know what marinade or glaze they are using but I wished I had ask for the recipe because I can’t afford to fly to Little Rock just for a steak every time I want meat.
The waitress recommended the warm chocolate cake and it was delicious. The ganache gave it a richness that was truly divine. The 3 cheese macaroni was great too.
The staff was very friendly and our waiters, Rob and Justin, were very attentive polite and personable. The table side Caesar salad, was delicious and the young man that made it was entertaining and polite.
The appetizers were a huge letdown. Do not order the crab claws – they’re the size of crawfish claws and completely not worth it. The meat and cheese board was underwhelming, with only two sad cheese options, apples and a few sad grapes that looked like they’d already been picked over.
For the main course, we ordered the ribeyes, which were thin, poorly seasoned, and over salted. The sides were just as bad – greens that were bland except for the massive amount of salt and what I think was potato O’Brien that tasted like something straight out of the frozen aisle. None of us finished our meals.
To top it off, we were celebrating a special anniversary with close friends, and the entire experience was a three-hour ordeal of disappointment. As the evening wore on, the crowd became loud, uncomfortable and unpleasant, adding to our frustrations.
We won’t be returning, and we strongly advise others looking for a nice dinner in Little Rock to look elsewhere. This was one of the worst dining experiences we have had in the city.
