After a disastrous beginning of our trip from VA to FL this lovely hidden gem was a total turning point! I was so pleased with the Front of the House staff. They were all so friendly and attentive, we even had the rare delight of the waitress of another section asking if we needed anything. The owner came around to talk with us and he was exceptionally nice. The food was outstanding! I was expecting a big greasy mess but the enormous portion of seafood was very lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. Everything was delicious. This is going to be a life-long stop!

TJs burger was great, both taste and appearance, fries were cold but the burger made up for it.Wife and daughter have the alfredo which was good.We initially went for the buffet but seemed all expensive for such a small amount of choice.Service was great, thecsmall layout was nice and quiet. All in all pretty good, will definitely be back.

Small locally owned American restaurant. Recently changed ownership after prior owners closed. I was expecting a great reasonably priced dinner, as this restaurant recently opened with new owners and had several good reviews on a local Facebook site. I wad totally disappointed. My meal started off great, the small but very fresh salad bar was very good. I ordered a grilled chicken plate that came with the salad and one side. A list of sides on the menu included a loaded baked potato. When food was delivered to our table the baked potato was cold and barely had any butter, sour cream etc. A few chives were sprinkled on top. A generous portion of chicken was on the plate, however it was unseasoned, dry and tough to cut. The restaurant supplied us with a fork wrapped in on small napkin, no knives to be seen. Our waitress notified the owner / manager and she briefly stopped looked at my potato and really didn’t care. Told her never mind and said I woul take my chicken home for the dog. When bill was handed to me the restaurant charged an extra $2 for the baked potato but the menu did not reflect this charge. The manager gave me a credit for the $2 but never offered an apology or even seemed concerned that my meal was a disappointment. Too bad as this restaurant is in my home town and I could visit it often. I included a puc of my “grilled chicken” from the take out box just before giving it to the dog. (She enjoyed it) !

We enjoyed the onion petals appetizer, very tasty. The ribeye steak and blackened chicken were both delicious. Very friendly owner and staff. A nice atmosphere. We will visit again

We went out for Valentine’s Day in hopes of a good dinner. Our reservation was for 7 p.m. we were seated and the wait began. At 7:15 we were asked if anyone has waited on us. I told my husband if someone doesn’t come by 7:20 we were leaving. At 7:19 we were asked what we wanted to drink. My husband asked for water and I asked for tonic water. When the tonic water arrived it was flat. I took it back to the bar to asked for a fresh one, and of course they just happened to run out. I asked the waitress to please remove the tonic water from the bill. At 7:30 the waitress took our food order. At 8:03 our food arrived. I ordered the hamburger steak – it was burnt… the onions on top were even burnt! My husband ordered the fried shrimp that came with greasy soggy fries. He did say the shrimp, cold slaw and hushpuppies were pretty good. While we were sitting there waiting for the bill we over heard 2 other couples complaining about the food and service. One guy got up 3 different times to find out where their food was. At the other table the ladies ordered baked potatoes but received roasted potatoes with rock hard rolls. The lady actually used her fork and banged on the roll!! My husband said that was the last time we ever went there again. They still tried to charge me for the tonic water, which my husband caught. Excuses were made, they were short handed, they were busy, etc.. we even had to ask someone to fix the wobbly table! They did take off my meal from the bill to which I give them credit for.

The waitress and bartender were great . We had the buffet. I was honestly expecting better. I was really disappointed when we ordered chocolate cake for 2 for dessert and received a SLIVER of BOXED chocolate cake served in a styrofoam bowl…. A meal with a price tag of $75+ should never be served on styrofoam.
