Found this new restaurant in Walker. Typical bar and grill atmosphere that is on the bike trail. There is a small deck in back if you like eating outside. The standard chips and salsa were served and the salsa was excellent. The fish tacos were amazing(5☆). The flavor made it easy to overlook the store vought flour tortillas. Our waitress mentioned the fish was walleye. It was certainly meaty. The Pena colada I ordered was good too. My husband’s chicken enchilada was disappointing(3☆). The Rojo sauce tasted store bought and had too much vinegar , not enough spice flavor. Perhaps the Verde is better. Unsure if we will be back, but the fish tacos are highly recommended.

Was not at all impressed with this place. For starters, the menu had very limited options. I ended up ordering the Americana Tacos. It said it came with hard or soft shell, shredded beef, lettuce, and Pico. Sounded basic to me. I ordered a side of cilantro lime rice for my child to eat since she is limited on what she can have. My husband ordered carnitas street tacos with rice and beans. Assuming it would be Spanish rice and beans. ♀️

We were looking forward to trying this restaurant for the first time last Saturday. Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow and the food was terrible. The bar side of the restaurant, where we were sitting was empty, so the bar tender (who we later found out was also the manager) should not have had a problem taking care of us. Our food was not served until an hour after we ordered! One kid’s meal came with only 2 chicken tenders, both of which, including the tater tots we’re cold. The other kid’s chicken tender burrito came with 3 very small pieces of sliced chicken tender, a huge pile of shredded lettuce and some shredded cheese, all of which was served cold. We commented to our server about the shortage of chicken, she said she would bring more out because what we were served was not an “acceptable amount”. We waited 30 minutes for the chicken before asking and the server said she decided take one of the kid’s meals off our bill instead, which was OK but it would have been great of her to let us know that before making us wait an additional 30 minutes. In the midst of our service another family came in long after we ordered our food, and they had similar issues, that family left without finishing. We understand that good help is hard to find these days, but for the super high prices on the menu, there is no excuse for serving such terrible food. Save your money and make tacos at home if your craving Mexican food.

Server was friendly but wasn’t quick never came back for refills but I’m their defense there was only 2 servers but place was empty at 6:30 on a Friday. The fajitas didn’t seem to have any seasonings on them and there was barely any meat and was $22. The refried beans looked right out of a can. The food was on the same level as high school Mexican cafeteria food. It’s the opposite of authentic Mexican food. Also the table was so sticky that the napkins stuck to it. I never give bad reviews but I think this place deserves one

Over an hour wait for a chimi and taco platter when the restaurant was not very busy. Our server brought us the wrong drinks and made no effort to correct them. Our bill included extra drinks that we never ordered and she seemed annoyed when asked to correct it. I understand they were short staffed but that shouldn’t be taken out on the customer and doesn’t excuse poor service. The food was definitely not worth the wait. The chimi was excessively oily and not warm. Tacos were mediocre. We definitely will not be returning.

Great service! Really great food. Had the Blanco Burrito which was big enough for my husband and I to split. Didn’t get a picture because we both chowed it down so fast! The warm chips and yummy salsa just kept coming. Love the Ambiance and we will definitely be back!
