C-Level absolutely delivers on location and timing. In winter, arriving around 4:30 PM is perfect-you’re treated to a stunning San Diego skyline view, and the food arrives right as the sunset steals the show. Truly spectacular. Pro tip: the South-East corner seats are the best in the house.

Food highlights:
Calamari is a great way to start-light, tasty, and ideal as a pre-dinner bite.
Pappardelle pasta was good, though not particularly memorable.
Lobster & Fontina sandwich was absolutely worth it,rich, satisfying, and well executed.

Where it missed the mark:
The Filet Duo was disappointing for the price (~$50). While the meat itself was good, the portion felt like two sad little medallions, overwhelmed by more than three-quarters of the plate being French fries. The lack of presentation and the choice of fries significantly lowered expectations for a dish at this level.

That said, just when we were feeling like maybe we wouldn’t rush back, the desserts completely redeemed the experience, well-crafted, indulgent, and a strong finish to the meal.

Bottom line: Come for the views, time it right for sunset, choose your seat wisely, and order selectively. Despite a misstep with one entrée, the overall experience especially the setting and desserts earns a solid 5 stars.

Not an alcohol drinker, but brother said the cocktails where worth it.

Amazing dinner date restaurant!! Went on a Friday evening here with my husband and we had about a 30 minute wait. The lady at the front didn’t let us know when our table was ready so we had to go back and check in to see what was happening. Afterwards we were seated immediately.
Kyle was our server and he was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave us great recommendations. I got the seafood pasta and it was delicious, so creamy and rich with flavors. I loved the bits of seafood in the pesto sauce and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The slices of bread were garlic-y and had that nice crispy airy texture. The plate stayed hot the entire meal so I was able to enjoy a very hot plate of food down to the last bite.
Glad we didn’t order appetizers or dessert, it would have been too much food. One entree for each of us was plenty! We were fortunate to get to sit next to the window and enjoy the view of the city/military base.

Came here for a Valentine’s brunch and loved the “business casual” red carpet setup. As a vegetarian at a seafood-heavy spot, I came for the stunning waterfront view but was pleasantly surprised by the food. The Mediterranean Bowl was unique and yummy, and they kindly customized the Pappardelle pasta for me by swapping seafood for tofu and mushrooms. However, they missed serving the rosemary garlic crostini alongside as mentioned. The artichoke fritters were a bit greasy and the Desi Arnaz drink was a bit too sour for our taste, but the Potted Brownie Banana Split was a delicious (and massive!) finish. Ok service but great views.

Had dinner here on my anniversary,it has the best view in sandiego, food was amazing, service was great, ambience is pretty quiet and relaxing, good happy hour menu 3-5:30. My favorite was steamed muscles, fried calamari and lobster mac and cheese, highly recommended. Topped us off with desserts to mark our occasion. Thanks for the experience will definitely come back.

My daughter treated my wife and me when we visited San Diego. She made a reservation; without one, people had to wait in a long line. First, the view outside the window was gorgeous, with downtown buildings, a blue sky, and the open, clean Pacific Ocean. Second, the food was delicious, with generous portions at a reasonable price. Third, the service was very attentive and friendly, with warm smiles.

This was an awesome Lunch Experience at C Level by the San Diego Bay.

The views are stunning complimented by great food and service. They offer indoor and outdoor seating options – I highly recommend the outdoor table by the bay view.

Coming to Food –
Everything Ahi : was bomb but should not cost as much as it did. Artichoke Fritters : hit the spot- very good !
Fish Tacos and Fries : Highly recommended. V Good ! Ask for Salsa on the side.
Salads : were awesome , we tried Poki Salad and it was good.

Loved C Level !

Nice casual vibe on peninsula overlooking downtown San Diego, the ocean, and navy area. The service was super friendly and quick. I did think my lobster BLT sandwich had a bit too much mayo. After a while, every bite just tasted the same and the sandwich got really boring and heavy. The lobster bisque was great though!

Oh also! Huge slice of coffee ice cream cake for free on my buddy’s birthday. This was actually probably one of the best ice cream cakes I’ve ever had. Still thinking about it now. Definitely recommend getting it as a dessert option even if it’s not your birthday!

This restaurant lounge serves excellent seafood with generous portions. The chicken potstickers are meaty and flavorful, and the calamari is well-cooked and not overcooked or undercooked, The lobster macaroni and cheese is very good, with a lot of lobster. My entree was the seafood pappardelle pasta, which featured bay scallops, white fish, mussels, shrimp, cherry tomatoes, chili flakes, garlic, pesto cream, rosemary-garlic crostini, and lemon oil arugula. It was absolutely delicious! I would rate it 5/5

Foods and cocktails were amazing. Everything tasted great, portions were generous, and it was totally worth the price. No “tiny plate, big bill” syndrome here.

The service was outstanding. Everyone was incredibly friendly and genuinely caring. It honestly felt like my go-to neighborhood spot where you’re treated like a regular. They even apologized multiple times for about a 30-minute delay in seating us even with reservation. Most busy restaurants these days just shrug like delays are your life problem. Here, you could tell they truly cared.

One small thing that meant a lot to me. They still do the old-school way of handling credit cards. No handheld machine shoved in your face with “20%, 25%, 30%” tip options staring at you like a social experiment. They brought the receipt and let us decide. That alone made the whole experience feel more respectful and relaxed… and honestly, it made me want to tip more, not less.
