I came at 6:40. They said they were closed because nobody came in for 2 hours. The business hours States They close at 7pm. The older woman was rude. I said ok I will go somewhere else and walked out. She came outside and asked me what did I want to order. I said large beef plate. She said ok. She told a man in the back to make it. There was a lots of beef but my beans and potato salad were in condiment cups. It was 25 dollars. I gave her $30. I didn’t want to argue. I will never go back there. I had to go to JJ FISH just to get proper sides. Smh. I see why they gave no customers.

I’m visiting from Arizona and the sweet owner gave me samples of their BBQ and sides I can honestly say The Best BBQ I’ve ever had melt in your mouth ribs sauce finger licking good. Incredible hospitality home vibe and comfort food with bursting flavors from the meat selections to the potato salad. I will definitely be back to eat their masterpiece menu items again real soon. Thank you Empress Owner and her beautiful family black owned business. Must have ❤️

So very delicious. I got a plate with Ribs, coleslaw and Hush puppies. I am going to be thinking about The Flavor of the ribs until I go back again. Also Looking forward to trying other side dishes next time. The staff was great and checked I had everything before I left.

My card was charged ten dollars more than I was quoted. Didn’t notice til I was checking my transactions for something else.when I checked the receipt it was a different amount entered. Please check your receipts especially if your paying by a card. Also the potatoes salad taste like it had been frozen. They charge five dollars more for a little cup of yams and Mac & cheese, cannot use those items included in your order.

There’s a lady in here who’s rude and inattentive. I came in for the first time and had questions about the menu. I asked for two different things and she replied shortly that they were out I asked for another item and she said they didn’t sell that when it was listed on one of their signs. Service was terrible when it seems like they desperately need customers. Walked away, hungry but satisfied such an unappreciative place that calls themselves a business didn’t scalp me.

I paid for dollars for a clump of burnt cheese that’s completely inedible. The “yams” are mush and have way too much cinnamon and the customer service is absolutely HORRIBLE!! Half the bbq sauce is just red pepper flakes. The one in Fairfield was better. Miss that place. I will not be back to this establishment.

$ Man im disappointed I dont usually get BBQ, I was excited, which was smeared by the Cold cashier over the phone who gave no info like the price and was mean, feel like she judged at voice and face value didnt like me or was having a bad day God bless. MOVING ON- the FOOD wasnt good, period. Random peppered coleslaw, soggy Uncooked fries, the ribs are stuck to the bone not smoked up anywhere and the sauce is smokey Cornsyrup wit some pepper pieces in it. The Fish is hella fishy (old) and 3 tiny not crispy hush puppies for 3$ :/ Helllow JJs. $$ when youre hungry and you cant enjoy your Frys theres an issue, and thats old mushy fish.

They have amazing food here and it’s fish was amazing! I will definitely be back and the desert looks amazing. I saw the smoker they use I’m definitely jealous. Thank you for a great meal!

Chicken breast was super dry. No grill marks on the hotlinks. The pork ribs were decent. The bbq sauce has way too much sugar. Food was not priced to match the quality! Wasted my $16. I wont be back for bbq here.
