This was our first time here. My wife had the veggie plate and I had a fried Bologna sandwich. Both meals were great and we ate every bit of it. Joshua was our server. He did an awesome job! The ambiance was very unique. We loved it.

When I pulled up to this big industrial metal building with no windows, I thought this really can’t be a restaurant. We stepped in through the foyer and then through the second door. The building opened up. It is huge inside. Like a smaller version of the Tulsa Expo building, a complex. On one end of the cavernous room is a stage for the occasional live entertainment. On the other end of the building is a gift shop, large bar and billiards room. In between the stage and the gift shop are acres of dining tables and booths. The inside is one of the nicest decorated, country themed décor restaurants I have ever been in. I bet when this place fills on Friday and Saturday nights, it is hustling and churning like the state fair. Check all of the pictures!

The menu is a book, pages and pages. There is a plate of food, appetizer, or beverage that will please anyone and everyone. I had my meal picked before we arrived. One look at the menu and it was a deer in the headlights look on my face. I forgot what I wanted. Let’s take a chance. I asked the very nice young lady what she recommended? Without hesitation she recommends the days special. Two versions of pulled pork sandwiches. One just meat, BBQ sauce on Texas toast. My wife got that with fries. The other special, Pulled pork on a bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, slaw and a little queso. I’ll have that with fried okra. Both meals were absolute perfection. The pulled pork made blue ribbon winning sandwiches. Mild smoke flavor, tender, juicy and lean. On mine, the slaw was the perfect addition.

Exceptionally good food, wonderful friendly service!

Let me give it to you straight: This place is a nightmare. It’s a bar and restaurant with some kind of mercantile/construction selling place on the side and what seems to be air bnbs. Over all the vibes of the place are very confusing. The restaurant is kinda nice if you’re into eclectic sign collections plastered everywhere. The service is alright since there’s not really a wait for tables cause the place seems to be mostly empty. The problems arise with the food. It takes a long time for food to get out and when it does it’s basically cold. An 8 oz steak cost almost like 30 dollars, and it’s not even a decent cut. The mashed potatoes tasted like box potatoes, not sure if they can’t afford real ones or just don’t care. They also seem to be severely understaffed which might be why food takes so long. Overall it just felt like the place was lifeless and dying. Judging from local talk it’s also the only hangout spot in the town, which kinda makes sense cause the town is small. The restaurant is nestled along Route 66, which is nice but— overall, I’d recommend not stopping cause the food and the cost of the food just isn’t worth it.

Oh, my!!! In town for the Southern Plains Mopaar Fest IV from northern Indiana. First visit for hubby and I – very, very impressed. Everyone was so friendly and food was excellent, not to mention very plentiful. The burgers were recommended to us, so that’s what we had. They certainly didn’t disappoint. We definitely will visit again while we’re in town. ❤️

The lady that took our order was slow and didn’t check on us as much. She filled our drinks one time. The food was great. Had to leave half of my food. Couldn’t get a to go box.
