Located in the heart of The Battery Atlanta next to Truist Park, C. Ellet’s Steakhouse is a convivial place to gather and pass a good time. Here we connect and celebrate with each other. We have a passion for steaks, seafood, hospitality— and of course, we love lagniappe!
Top-tier steak, cocktails & classic fare served in an elegant space with a walk-up oyster window.

My wife treated me to a birthday lunch. She chose C. Ellet’s to enjoy the jazz brunch. The music was soothing and enjoyable. We were promptly seated and served. Our server, Chadwick, did a very nice job servicing our table.
I tried the fried chicken while my wife had the All Star breakfast; we threw in an order of blueberry pancakes. The food was light and flavorful. The portions were sizeable. The chicken had a delectable crust. They treated us to a large slice of chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream to commemorate my birthday.
We will be returning in the near future to sample the lineup of steaks!

I want to preface this review by saying Elizabeth, our server, and the host team gave great service. We were a 5 top walk-in and were seated quickly. Elizabeth was knowledgeable, quick, and hospitable. She gave great recommendations and handled wine service with care. My main complaint was with the food. Prices aside, our onion rings were served still cold in the middle as a result of them not being properly thawed. A lot of the food seemed to have been microwaved. My chicken was bland and was completely lacking capers, which were listed on the menu under the chicken. My hopes were high based the beautiful decor and quick service, but I became quickly disappointed when the food started arriving. Considering most entrees were $30-$60, I had much higher hopes.

Great atmosphere inside woth cozy semi private seating. The jazz brunch has a live duet that was wonderful. The oysyer selection is extensive with options for both raw and cooked. The steak flavour was just ok but the staff were extremely friendly and wonderful. Special thanks to Anna Banana (as she introduced herself) who made sure we enjoyed our experience

I went for my birthday/valentines. I want to for starters say that our server Maddie is fabulous. She is just the sweetest and kindest and very hospitable. The food was absolutely delightful. We had oysters both half she’ll and chargrilled and may I say it was SUPERB and thats coming from a girl from louisiana. The manager with the glasses was so funny and kind as well. I genuinely felt welcomed and will be back very soon. The wedge salad, salmon with Brussels sprouts, and pork chops were our entrée choices and it was very enjoyable. All I needed was a little salt and I cleared my plates lol. I liked the live music as well.

Visited for Valentines dinner. So disappointed. Ordered a wedge salad , had to ask for it later, did not bring to table. Ordered a Sirlon for dinner cooked medium, was brought another piece of meat cooked medium rare. Wait staff didn’t come back to table. My husband found someone to come to table. They brought the sirlon and it was medium rare. We had to leave table and find someone to come to table again. Took the steak back to cook to medium. Returned it to table 15 minutes later in an au jus sauce and the middle still rare and cold. Everyone else had finished dinner. Will say the wine was good even though it was $21 a glass. On a positive note the brussel sprouts were very good. Would not suggest or recommend .

We came in and got seated immediately without waiting.
My other half had oysters as an appetizers and had Salmon with Local Georgia Lettuces
radish, tomme, pecan, benne, with citrus vinegarette for his entry.
I had the Wagyu Baseball Sirloin* 8oz Angus.
The food was exemplary!
The atmosphere was pretty relaxing and inviting.
They had bar as well with wine and liquor selections and etcetera.
Good service.
The time we arrived, ’twas monday, 1300, it was not crowded and noisy. Until a group of ladies came in and kind of start talking loudly! Lol.
But other than that the restaurant was A+.

C. Ellet’s at The Battery is absolutely AMAZING. I genuinely cannot fathom how Atlanta, a landlocked city, is serving the BEST oysters I’ve had anywhere in the United States… yes, even better than places sitting right on the ocean. The oysters were unbelievably fresh, clean, perfectly chilled, and packed with that crisp, briny flavor you hope for but rarely get. Every bite was perfection.
And let’s talk about the seafood tower hands down the best value I’ve seen. Not only is it generous and beautifully presented, but the quality is top tier. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell they truly care about what they’re serving.
What really makes this place exceptional though is the service. The staff is kind, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable. Even the new bartender, Barry, was fantastic, attentive, friendly, and already impressive behind the bar. Chris was AMAZING, I truly cannot say enough about him. His energy, professionalism, and attention to detail elevated the entire experience. Marcus is also wonderful and always ready to lend a helping hand, making everything feel seamless.
The drinks are great and a solid value as well, crafted well and perfectly paired with the food.
I honestly can’t say enough about this place. Incredible food, outstanding service, and unbeatable value. I’m so happy to live 50 yards away… this is going to be dangerous (in the best way possible). Highly, highly recommend!

C. Ellet’s Steakhouse is located right at the corner near the Chophouse entrance of Truist Park, where the Atlanta Braves play.
Reservations are a must! This is a classy, upscale spot with prices to match. Even the bathrooms were fancy and spotless.
We went for a birthday celebration before a Braves game. The steaks were delicious, and we enjoyed sides of fries, creamed spinach, baked mac & cheese, and salad. The fries and spinach were especially good, and the mac was rich and creamy.
Unfortunately, the service was a bit underwhelming. While our server was friendly, she brought us the wine bottle list instead of wines by the glass, forgot our wine order altogether, and mixed up the herb butter on one of the steaks. I ordered my steak medium rare—she double-checked—but it came out medium. Others in our group who asked for medium got steaks that were more well-done.
Overall, the food and ambiance were great, but the service could have been better. Still worth a visit if you’re looking for a nice pre-game meal—just be prepared to spend and double-check your order.

The drinks were great. I had charbroiled oysters, shrimp and a steak. I wasn’t a fan of the steak but the oysters and shrimp was really good. I failed to snap a picture due to the large group we were with. The seasoning wasn’t there for me on the steak, maybe because my friend ordered it, so he may have ordered it a different way. Overall, I enjoyed myself for The Homerun Derby, and the staff was great. They were very assertive to the many customer’s needs while keeping smiles on their faces. I’ll definitely be back to try a different steak and see if I was wrong. Great atmosphere

I don’t understand how they have a 4.2. It really is 5 stars all the way! For starters the atmosphere is perfect. Your looking at the Braves Stadium what could be better?! The seats are very comfortable and the ambiance is Pure Steakhouse. The servers are Excellent! Extremely attentive and friendly, super polite. Now the food is outstanding. I’ve enjoyed some amazing steakhouses and these guys are right there. In the same bull pen. Pun intended Lol. The wagyu sirloin was sooo tender. The 8oz sirloin was every bit as tender and delicious as the wagyu. The Lobster Mac was awesome too. We enjoyed the potato skins to start with and Old Fashioned and a local IPA draft. Almost forgot but the salads were crisp and chilled. Dressing was so creamy. Sorry no room for desert. Maybe next time. It is pricey but as always you get what you pay for. It’s ok you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy your meal and go cheer on the Braves!!
