Soooo I’m torn between 3 & 4. We came during the holiday weekend- it was our first time. They had plenty of staff but it looks like they were not working effectively together.
The restaurant felt a little disorganized- order then sit down? Sit down and someone comes out? Nope. Order then sit down because they give you a number….then eventually they will bring out the food.
We didn’t get to try the ice cream because by the time the food was out the line was wrapped around and starting to go towards the door- bummer.
The food didn’t come out together. The burgers came out first then the sides. I will say that the food was good. They were definitely hot and fresh.
We got the Steakhouse burger & the hubby enjoyed it greatly. I got the Boom Boom Baconater (or something like that) and it was amazing. I wanted more sauce to dip but didn’t get to ask for some (huge line).
The cheese bombs were my favorite.
I definitely didn’t enough room for all the food I ordered. I asked for boxes and the person got side tracked.
Personally, it would’ve been nice to see a food line & an ice cream line. People were being served their ice cream then by the time they got to check out they had basically eaten the whole thing- that’s crazy to me.
I would be willing to try them again because the food was that good. The service- again…it was a holiday weekend, so I’m not trying to be too harsh.
Side note, we left a jacket there and came back a couple hours later & nobody had turned one in & it wasn’t in the booth we sat. Hope whoever found it- needed it. (That was a bummer)

I had a grilled chicken salad. The chicken was tasty, but the lettuce was rusty and brown. I realize rusty lettuce isn’t toxic, but it doesn’t look appetizing. The young woman, who I assume was a manager, had zero empathy for my plate of rusty lettuce. She stared me down and said she didn’t see any problem with it. So, there you have it. If being served a plate of rusty lettuce is not a problem for you, this is your restaurant.

To start, friendly staff with good recommendations. Then the food …fresh, delicious, large portions, ice cold glass mug for your soda. We had the avocado burger and the bacon attorney with fries. The fries were plenty for two people. Both burgers had bacon, thick slices, perfectly cooked! We ended with a banana split. Great diner

I ordered a scoop of ice cream after looking at the examples on the wall. They had a children’s and then a single scoop and so on. The child size didn’t come to the top of the cup and didn’t touch the sides. The single, in the wall example, showed the ice cream going to the top of the cup and touching the sides all around. Although I ordered the single and not the children’s, I received the children’s amount and was charged for the single. The price for the single scoop was 3.99.
For clarification after the owner replied to this review….I ordered the size above the children’s…NOT the children’s, but received the amount of ice cream in the children’s based on your examples on the wall. Thank you for your time.

Food was awesome, prices were more than reasonable for the quality and portion size! Plus, they have ice cream and shakes for the kids.
We had patty melts, chicken strips, and deep fried garlic cheese curds. It all spectacular.
MUST VISIT if you’re in Crescent City.
Only downside- we tried to stop by on Sunday to grab some food for the road trip home and they were closed! We had our hearts set on another one of their delicious patty melts!!

Dang good hamburgers and we enjoyed the ice cream. The portion sizes were almost more than most of us could eat. The service was friendly and attentive. The decor/environment is lacking a little and the place could be a little cleaner, but it wasn’t bad. I would return if I’m ever in this area again.
