First trip ever to Louisiana and tried this spot for some much needed seafood grub after seeing some amazing photos and great reviews on this place. Maaaan. There was NO disappointment! Great meal to start of a first time experience to the area! Most definitely would recommend to others. Order was a call in pick up and was hot and coming out upon quoted timeframe. Order of salmon pasta, seafood fries, and burger for a kiddo. The pasta was so perfectly seasoned!! I couldn’t believe how delicious it was. The seafood on them fries along with that tangy sauce with a kick! Oh my gosh just go try it out for yourself!

Apparently, the truck is different from what I was lead to believe based on previous homework.
I’m a truck driver, and I stopped at the TA intentionally to give this a try, because of the reviews that I did see.
I was there at 3pm and I met the owner, Chef BZB. He said he didn’t open until 5, and as I turned to head back to my truck, he stopped me and said he’d be willing to open at 4- so that was nice of him. I thought that was more that fair, so at 4, I ordered the salmon, with pasta and broccoli. For $25 it’s easily two meals for me. And VERY good. Not overly seasoned, but definitely not bland and tasteless. It’s just right. Truck drivers- take The short walk across the busy street from the TA and enjoy a good meal!

I ordered the burger and fries for myself. And the salmon with broccoli and mashed potatoes for my husband. It was so good, we did not get a chance to take a photo! The burger was juicy and well seasoned, the fries were thick and fresh; The salmon was perfectly cooked, the broccoli wasn’t mushy, and the potatoes were perfect. Everything was made quickly! We will definitely be back!

We were planning a trip that included 2 nights in Lafayette. I found reviews and pics of chefbz’s food and it all looked so delicious and got the highest reviews, I just knew we needed to go there. After a long day flying from California and driving straight to Lafayette, we went to bz’s underground kitchen. We got some of everything. We checked into our hotel and dug in. It was so delicious. We forgot to take pictures. The people of Lafayette and the surrounding area are so lucky to have this great food in their neighborhood. I’m jealous! Keep up the great cooking Brandon!!
