We went to the one in MT Laurel on rt70 and used the store , it was clean as usual, but the FOOD !! IT HAS GOTTEN WORSE ! now I can only speak for the crab cakes. Back in the day when they started they were GREAT, but now it’s just garbage, They have nothing but filled, barley any jumbo crabmeat, normally they are soooo good, I can eat 2, but I’m lucky I finished 1. TOTAL SHAME. First I will never buy there again,which is a shame I would spend an easy $200.00 no problem, now I would not spend $5 of my money. Bob it’s a total shame you got to big for your reputation , your place WAS once awesome, not i’ts as bad as Popeyes. You did the same thing with the resturant you had CHEZ ROBERT in

This to me is the undisputed winner in Crab Cakes. Always make sure I ordered seafood from Bobby Chez when I’m in this area in South Jersey. I order from the Collingswood Location as this is where I grew up and my parents are still here so when I’m in town visiting it’s this location.
I have had all the food from this location. Friend Shrimp, Oysters, Clams, Broiled Flounder Stuffed Shrimp and yes The best and Famous Crab Cakes. Also really enjoy Lobster Mashed potatoes Vegetable Au Gratin , Broccoli and Cauliflower Medley and of course the Famous Sea Shore french Fries. Also available non seafood and vegetarian options. I currently live in the Finger Lakes of Central NY, they profess to have fish frys which I have eaten at but they pail in comparison.

Great local spot. We usually get the prepared foods when in a pinch for dinner or lunch. I see several complaints about prices but the pricing is fair (maybe the complainers haven’t been out since 2020) and the food is excellent. Yes, at busy times you may wait. Recommend bringing food home to cook/heat up and save time. Get whole chickens on sale Wednesday usually.

Im a crabcake snob and since my favorite place closed for the winter season, I was looking forward to going back to Bobby Chez. Yet, I was quite disappointed in the crabcake. Much smaller than before and the recipe is different…more outer crust, with much less jumbo lump crab, as well as being VERY bland. When I went online I learned they were bought by a new owner. My advice…go back to the original recipe/size.
